I am so grateful for the exceptional care I always receive from Dr. Ashcraft. I've been going to him for years. I ran into an emergency while traveling and realized I didn't have my contact lenses. Despite it being a Friday afternoon, he stayed late to ensure my prescription was handled and personally spoke with the retail staff at the location I was visiting. It's rare to find a doctor so willing to go the extra mile! They truly put their patients first, and I can't recommend him, his office (and his expertise!) enough.

Excellent service in every respect. Waiting room is spotless. I was seen on time (such a rarity these days!). The doctor also saw me promptly--not one of those situations where you are put in a room . . . and then wait for a very long time for the doctor to come in. Dr. Ashcraft explained everything very clearly. My glasses were ready in less than two weeks. Best eye doctor and practice I have ever been to.

I have been seeing Dr. Ashcraft for over 30 years, since I moved to California. He is a great eye doctor. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain what is happening with my eyes. As I have gotten older, my eyesight has changed, but Dr. Ashcraft has been there every step of the way, always knowing how to adjust my correction, and usually predicting what will happen next. His office staff is very friendly, and the office has a family feel, with some of Dr. Ashcraft's daughters working behind the desk from time to time. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Ashcraft and am glad I found a doctor that I can trust over many years.

If you are a contact person, one who favors glasses, or even someone with 20/20 vision, you can't go wrong with Dr. Ashcraft. As a long time patient now, I can confirm that there has been no shift in quality of the services you can receive from Dr. Ashcraft and the Family Eyecare Center. In every appointment, Dr. Ashcraft gives consideration to the current status of your eyes but also thinks about their future and what are the best options to keep your eyesight as best as it can be. Dr. Ashcraft and his entire team have been professional, accommodating and most importantly caring over the years and I can't see myself going anywhere else!

Dr. Ashcraft and his staff are true professionals and welcomed me as I'm new to Los Angeles! The check in time was seamless and I was addressed for my appointment promptly! Dr. Ashcraft performed my exam and suggested options for my eyes! He even given me a trial sample of contacts to try out to determine which brand would be best for my eyes and (wallet)! I would highly recommend Dr. Ashcraft and his practice to anyone who needs an eye exam and a new pair of glasses/contacts!

I have been Dr. Harold Ashcraft's patient since 1984! He is a very caring and thorough professional, and I would not trust my eyecare with any other doctor. The eyewear selection is always eclectic; it's hard to leave with only one pair. I highly recommend Dr. Harold Ashcraft!

Dr. Ashcraft does a thorough and complete job. I have been going for years. But when you make an appointment, you need to call back to confirm, otherwise they will give it away. Be sure you confirm. Frames are a bit expensive. I felt a little pressured to buy there.
