Hollywood Vermont Optometrics

Do not go here unless you are o.k. with paying $360 for glasses you never get. I wanted to use a local optometrist not a corporate chain. My mistake. I got 1 pair. Second pair delayed. 3rd pair waited 3 months. They sent April 2025. I never received the glasses. They got $350 from insurance. I've called, I've emailed many times. Ignored can't get anyone on the phone. Never received glasses, should have been insured. I am furious. Totally dishonest, no responsibility. I'll never go to a local sole proprietor optometrist. I've had surgery, can't get to the storefront.

Outstanding place to receive care. Very personable, friendly, thorough, and conscience. Will continue to come back for my eye and vision care. Thanks for all you do!

Great experience with Dr. Phifer and her staff. Warm and friendly environment. Both assistants were very helpful and professional. I felt comfortable the whole time. Not rushed at all like some other experiences I've had at other places in the past. Everyone here was attentive and friendly. Dr. Phifer was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and helped me to understand more about my eyes. The exam itself was fast and comfortable. It probably took less than 30 minutes. But it did not feel rushed at all. If you're looking for a great eye doctor and a place to get your eyes professionally examined, or purchase contacts and/or glasses.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

This is my first time visit and I will definitely come back next time I need a new prescription. Everyone there is courteous and professional! I came back a couple of times to get my frames, I purchased elsewhere, adjusted after picked up my new glasses (my prescription is perfect since the doctor is very good). They fixed my frame perfectly without a charge and told me to come back anytime that makes me very comfortable. Thank you!!!

I had an incredible experience here. The staff is light hearted and helpful. The exam was by far the best experience with an optometrist I've ever had in 40 years. The assistant who helped me pick out glasses was really knowledgeable about what my insurance would cover and which frames fit my budget as well as which add-ons would be covered as well as out-of-pocket costs. I'm definitely coming back for my exam next year and I love my new glasses.

My visit with Dr. Pokpongkiat was very pleasant. He was very thorough and informative which is not something I have experienced in visiting an eye doctor. Most of the time you get your exam, prescription, and glasses/contacts and that's it. Dr. Pokpongkiat took the time to talk with me about my eyes and the effects of light sensitivity on my vision. He truly listened to my concerns, and tested out his theories and was even able to tell me a little about the genetics of my family based on his findings, which turned out to be completely accurate! He was very patient, and helpful. I will definitely be back to have my eyes checked by him the next time around. And I live in Texas.

Honestly the best doctor I've had for my eyes. I learned stuff that I never knew. I also love that he wasn't in such a rush to get to the next person. He explained everything in details to me and made sure everything was perfect with my glasses and contact lenses.

I'm very satisfied I found this eye doctor. I never seen a doctor before that can help threat my symptoms by using this very special glassess to help me with the light sensitivity. My glasses helps me calm now because my eyes isn't bothering me anymore. I'm very thankful for this.
