I cannot recommend Kagan Vision Institute enough! I needed to find a doctor urgently to help my grandfather with his glaucoma, and they were able to accommodate us right away. From my research into cataract surgeons, Dr. Kagan was ranked #1, so I met him in October. His staff is very impressive, very professional and very polite. I was very impressed with his facilities and equipment in both offices, but most impressed by Dr. Kagan. He did a thorough summary of my results, explaining where I fit on the spectrum, the procedure he recommended, the process, and the post surgery. All my questions were answered completely and in layman's language. I felt so comfortable that I canceled my appointment with the second surgeon. I am very glad I selected Dr. Kagan. I was the squirming "patient from hell" during the surgery, and that did not slow the process or interrupt Dr. Kagan as he operated on my eyes quickly, efficiently, and pain-free. He scheduled an office visit for the day after surgery, and a follow up two weeks later. When I did experience some discomfort a week after surgery, my phone call was returned by Dr. Kagan within 1 hour despite his full schedule. He invited me to come in, he would meet with me right away. I didn't require that, but it is very reassuring to know that this kind of "Professional Platinum Card" support is ready and waiting. Dr. Kagan treated the delicate skin at my eye after I had a bad fall on my face , worst black eye & face ever. He has a very peaceful way of working . He's softly spoken with a reassuring mannerism. The area he treated is very delicate. I've seen him 3 times for shots to reduce the scar tissue. I'm so glad he's my doctor . Dr. Kagan explained everything clearly , I was so relieved having him as my doctor.

His very professional office team helped every step, explaining, advising and coordinating the schedule to accommodate especially an out of state patient. They are always on the phone whenever you need them or have a question. And finally two months later all my problems are gone! After wearing glasses all my life I don't need them at all anymore! Dr. Kagan at the time of cataract surgery has corrected my astigmatism problem forever. If you look how our vision works, at the anatomy and complexity of the eye - it is a true wonder, it takes real knowledge, expertise and magic hands to perform the surgery on the eye.
