Keck Medicine of USC - Roski Eye Institute - Los Angeles (HC4)

As noted by multiple other reviews here, the wait times are consistently unacceptable. You are asked to arrive 20 min before your appointment but I have never been seen within an hour of my scheduled time. Front desk is friendly and the doctors are wonderful. Does not make up for a terrible patient experience and blatant disrespect for your time. Either provide your staff with the support and tools they need to keep up, or schedule fewer patients. Whether this is greed or dysfunction, it's not fair to the staff or the patients.

Attention!! Attention!! Attention!! If it is not necessary, please do not choose the valet here. They will take the coins from your car. My new dog leash was also taken away yesterday. I didn't pay attention at the time and found it when I got home because I have never been anywhere else. I remember it was a bald man who was about 50 years old. Please be careful and keep your finances safe. I have reported it to the relevant departments of the hospital and hope they can improve it.

DO NOT TRUST DR. JONATHAN SONG! DO NOT TRUST DR. JESSE BERRY! They seem like good doctors, but aren't. They're all smiles and promise you the world only when they know how to help. If you're case is "different" forget about care. They'll string you along just for reputation or for $$$. There's negligence and malpractice going on in this hospital. I had my eye completely removed. I never had an explanation about what happened. And tried putting the blame on me. The appointments use to be 20 minutes. Now it's 4 to 5 hours and the visits are 5 minutes meeting with the ophthalmologists. I see the generic review they leave on everyone's posts. What is calling Keck Medicine of USC going to do? How am I going to have a normal life after what the doctors did? Be careful. Be very, very, careful how these doctors help. I'm sure I am not the only person who they have wronged.

Outstanding care! My sister needed a corneal transplant surgery. Dr. Flowers was very attentive and gave my sister the best care! My sister is handicapped and presented a real challenge. The staff went over and above to make my sister comfortable. The Roski Eye Institute at USC is "Top Knotch." My sister can see after two years of very limited sight. Thank you Dr. Flowers and all the staff! We are so grateful to everyone involved in my sister's care. I highly recommend the Roski Eye Institute.

The doctors and technologies are very good, however, not sure why the wait is so long. Min 2 hours per visit do not expect this to be a quick visit.

Staff here is very helpful and courteous, especially Berenice. Dr. Flowers and Dr. Xu are very knowledgeable and professional providers. Clinic is very clean and comfortable. Really great place, nothing bad to say! Just happy to have found them.

I celebrated the one year anniversary of my Acoustic Neuroma surgery on March 11, 2015 and I want to share my experience with those who are contemplating this surgery. Dr. Friedman and Dr. Giannotta are the very best so put that decision to rest and concentrate on getting your mind in a positive state this will determine your experience and outcome. Personally, I decided to use my experience as a springboard to enjoy everyday God gives me and get the most out of it. You get to decide your life's story so why not make it a positive one regardless of your circumstances.As I mentioned, March was my one year anniversary and I decided to participate in a 206 mile relay over 36 hours with my daughters, what a great experience .... some may say crazy. I don't share this for self-aggrandizement but to demonstrate what can be accomplished with great surgeons, support from family and friends and a positive attitude.
