Lawrence Goodwin, M.D

I was kind of scared to visit the office because of a few reviews. I guess to all its own. My visit to Dr. Goodman was great! To start, there is parking in the back of their office. Their staff is wonderful and Dr. Goodman is a very professional man with a good sense of humor that makes you feel right at home. Thank you.

The Doctor is amazing but his support staff is subpar at best. I've been waiting on contact lenses that i paid for over 8 months. Everytime I try to follow up that father daugher team never has any information. Those two are a horrible representation of the office. They've made my experience awful.

Such a great doctor really explains to his patients and cares for them. Nurses are all nice and friendly. They are all so welcoming. Huge difference from my last ophthalmologist.

Only posted a 1 star so that I can write a review. My mother required emergency surgery after her retina detached under the care of Mr. Goodwin. Please stay away or make sure you loved one is being taken care of properly.

What can I say, Dr. Lawrence and his team are great! I came in for an emergency visit and thank god I did. Dr. is patient, knowledgeable, Thoroughly explained my problem and made me feel at ease with my concerns. His staff is extremely nice! Would definitely recommend his services to anyone.

Have seen Dr. Goodwin for over 15yrs, and he and his staff have always been professional, and detailed in the services they deliver. He has taken care of my eyes, my son's, and now about to see my elderly mom. I always referr family and friends to him, because he is excellent and at the top of his field!!!

Do not go there, total scammers. Came for an exam, was diagnosed with something very serious and was told to get a surgery ASAP. I was rushed during my first visit, was told to get the forms from my doctor to get the surgery scheduled. Went to 3 other clinics for 2nd opinion, was told that I just need new glasses, laughed at the diagnosis that I was given at Drs Goodwin office. They make money on surgeries and that is what they will make you do. Also, reviews from the patients who got their surgeries done are very disturbing. Please go get second opinion before you decide to sign up for a surgery!!!

There should be an option for 0 stars. DR. Goodwin (far from good) is very unprofessional calls you for surgery once you are there and ready to get it, he tells you the lens measurements are not correct and has to reschedule you. Mind you that he had been postponing the surgery for the last 4 months. Goodwin if you see this if you cant do the surgery just say it man its ok there is better Doctors out here in LA you are not the only one.
