Dr. Michael Hegg. M.D. experienced 34+years experience so thorough and kind. Not rush patients tho it's extremely busy at the eye specialist office . My favorite opthamologist in Los Angeles , CA... Very personable & kind.Hegg is bilingual in English & Spanish too. He's my favorite eye specialist , been his patient over 3 years . I left, but returned bc the other specialist ain't half as great professionally & great personality , I seen lots of doctors in my life . I highly recommend Dr. Hegg, M.D. not all doctors are so amazing physicians . Thank you Dr Hegg fir saving my eyes all these years . Terrible Experience - Avoid if You Value Your Time and Sanity I cannot express how disappointed I am with Dr. Heeg Optometry, and frankly, I'm done subjecting myself to their abysmal front desk staff. This office is a chaotic mess from the moment you walk in. The waiting area is constantly overrun with patients, leading to crowded seating and noticeably poor ventilation. But the real issue here is the front desk. They are consistently rude and unprofessional. On my last visit, I witnessed them openly eating PF Chang's at their desk, which is not only unprofessional but also quite off-putting. They bark out wait times that are frankly ridiculous, routinely telling patients to expect to wait 1.5 to 2.5 hours! The doctor might be competent, but the overall experience is so tainted by the front office's behavior and the sheer disorganization that it's just not worth it. I've informed the doctor directly that I will no longer tolerate the rudeness of his staff. Save yourself the frustration and find an optometry office that values its patients' time and provides a respectful environment.
