I read the poor reviews with trepidation! However when I arrived, parking was poor but found a spot, and the waiting room was completely full! Looks like the waiting room serves several doctors, I was seen in about 15 minutes and I was out after an hourish. Dr. Urrea was calm, collected, cool, and gave his full attention. He told me things and I felt much relieved! IMHO he needs a better location with more parking and fewer Doctor partners, the issues I saw there were not directly related to him. I'm happy to come back for my next appointment! I gave four stars so you would believe this is a real review.

This is a terrible places to go... I have appointment at 3 pm for my daughter and she finally see the doctor at 4:30 pm so what it's the point to make appointment right? The lady's in the front was very rude ... so if you come this place bring breakfast luch and dinner for be contable. Also when we was inside the doctor take more the 25 min to see as ... this is not respect for my time.. I'm so mad to Waste my time

I've been coming here since I was a baby and I used to love the service because they knew what they were doing. Ever since 4 years ago the service has gotten so bad they never answer the phone when you're trying to reach them. The nurses are so rude and not friendly at all I felt so uncomfortable at my last visit. The only reason I kept going back was because they are the only ones that would make my prescription because of how high it is but that is the last time I ever visit this clinic. They over book their patients and don't prioritize them. They also never placed my eye contacts order and I kept calling asking if my contacts were ready and nobody would answer I left various voicemails and till 7 weeks later they notified me that the contacts order wasn't never placed because of a payment issue how did they not tell me this sooner ? The only reason I was told this was because I kept calling every 15 minutes to try and get a hold of someone to see what was going on. As of right now I'm trying to contact them to order my yearly supply of contacts and they do not answer been calling for days. I highly do not recommend this clinic.

Worst clinic I have ever been to. Why give appointments if you're just going to have to wait 2 hours to be seen? Disorganized mess, can't find authorizations previously sent and 0 communication skills. Do yourself a favor and look for another provider.

Hands down the worst customer service experience with the front desk latina women with attitude, rolling eyes, no patience, no empathy, no sympathy. My daughter is a patient there since she was 3yrs old. She got her eye issues treated and then fast forward 3 years to today and her eye issues came back so i called and made an appointment with no issues. I drove a long way to come to this appointment And when i got there the front desk lady with attitude didn't even address me with eye contact, she just said "name? What time is your appointment?" Patient name? I answered all her questions and then eventually she looks up at me with no smile, and just tells me "you need a mask to be in here" i told her i don't have one and she said "it's $0.25 cents for one" and i told her i don't have cash so looks away annoyed and tells me who referred me? I told her well my daughter's pediatrician 3 years ago when she had her eye issue, and the girl said with such disregard to my daughters issue, lack of any concern, "well you need a referral, they have to refer her again,...." And i told her "why didn't anyone check this or tell me this when I made the appointment over the phone and made me drive all the way to east los Angeles?! Her response was so cold and right down rude "i don't know, but you need a new referral" and i told her so no one will see my daughter today even though she's an existing patient, and her eye issue came back and i was told by the doctor to bring her back if the eye issue comes back which is what I'm doing now. That women is useless! She didn't care, she didn't even look at my daughter with her teary eye, just basically told me "sorry"....even my daughter said "daddy why can't they help me?" I told her the truth because this place doesn't care About their patients.

Poor customer service, always crowded long wait 25 cents for face mask you must wear lady at the front desk said "we are a private clinic" (said the employee). We are looking for a more personalized less crowded place that appreciates our business and speak nicely to customer. Remember, you can always find a better place.

My experience here was HANDS DOWN HORRIBLE. The front desk was rude, uncaring, and rolled their eyes at me and my mom. I was getting glasses, and they were giving me HORRIBLE choices. All of them were kids or adults. Some of them were broken, scratched, or damaged in other ways. They expect me to not notice their toxic behavior like I don't have eyes. If your thinking of going here, DO NOT. It has the worst customer service and the receptionists are really rude. Most of the eye doctors are really untrained, don't answer most questions, and say only what they want to. I really hate this place, because once my brother went here, and the doctor checked him, and said that he did not need glasses, but my brothers eyesight was poor. They need more training, respect for others, and seriously need their parents right next to them. They are like kids. If it was possible I would rate this place 0 stars. There is a better place in San Gabriel, with kind staff, and have multiple language translators so that if you do/do not speak English or speak English. Please do not come here. From lots of experiences it is not recommended.

I haven't been to too many eye doctors but this one has been the best so far. I went with my mom to get her eyes checked and immediately felt comfortable. The establishment was new and clean. Something you wouldn't expect to be like in East L.A. I thought it was going to be a hole in the wall clinica but it wasn't. Staff was immediately attentive and checked you in fast. The waiting time can be long or it can be quick. It all depends. I liked it so much that I made an appointment for myself, which was given for the very next day. Not too many frame selections but I found what was suitable and my glasses only took 2 weeks and that's with ordering 2 pairs, one being sunglasses. I personally would recommend it. I told my girlfriend and she has an appt. tomorrow. Win Win so far!
