They truly do have the best customer service and selection of frames and can easily order for you if they don't have something in stock. Free parking on the street. I was looking online back several years to find the type of eyeglass frames that met my particular tastes. I then walked into some of those stores, glimpsed all the had, and just walked out. Their whole collection was worthless to me for the style of frames I was looking. This happened again and again. So I found Society of The Spectacle online. And i also really artistically liked the website they had put up, so I got off my butt to get over to their shop. And immediately I felt very at home with such a broad expanse of glasses that I liked so very much of.. Taste is of course subjective. But I was looking for some hip, cool, geeky glasses like those of other creative types that I have as my friends. , And I like the throwback style I found in the pair I bought. Customer service was good, nice, and polite.. Nobody bothered me much as I tried things on. And I ended up buying a wonderful set of frames. Frames which in fact I am wearing right this instance, And these frames have suffered some major abuses yet this pair at least, is so well put together that my frames have survived my rough clumsiness mayhem

Two years ago they were super helpful but had a more limited selection of glasses for people with low nose bridges. If that's something that is a need, come visit here now! I just went back to get some new lenses and they introduced me to a new option they have for plastic frames that are NOT typical metal/silicon nose pads. Those dig into my face, but with an Asian nose, I thought I was stuck for life in the US with the options here. But NO! They can send out any plastic frames and have the nose area built up to fit your face! They take pics of where the frame sits on you, and then send them out to get fitted. Amazing! It's like custom nose areas for your frames. I am so excited now to go shopping for my next pair next year. I have so many more options! Yay! They have also stocked more options for the universal nose bridge fit as well. Plus, they are so nice and helpful here. Love!

I love this store and everyone who works there! I went in and picked a fabulous frames and of course my lenses are very expensive because I have transitional and progressive and antiglare and anti-scratch. Two weeks later my glasses were ready. I got them and I kind of liked them, I didn't love them. After a couple more weeks, I realized I really didn't like them, and so I contacted society of spectacle and they said come right in. They took those glasses back. I picked another Pair and there was no charge. And they made me feel good about the exchange. I was a little embarrassed to begin with because , well, because I've never returned glasses before, but they made me feel like family, I cannot recommend them more highly! I was ready to eat the cost of the lenses and hopefully maybe get some of the money on the frames back, but there was no charge whatsoever in exchanging the glasses Love love love

What a gem of a find in the heart of Highland Park!! Coolest, hip, funky lil shop with a gorgeous chic selection. And the staff are out of this world sweet! They also fixed my sunglasses for free! And guided me on future purchases. I just adore this kind of boutique; perfect customer service with the most stylish selections ever with knowledgeable staff smack in the middle of my are of Los Angeles. Perfect addition to our lovely neighborhood! Shop small, not the mall, this place deserves your patronage! Makes one not dread their vision going bad, so one can stock up on their incredible collection! I can not recommend this sweet lil shop enough.

I had an old pair of sunglasses that I had bought somewhere else. I asked if they would be able to replace a screw for me. They did it and didn't charge me a cent! What's even better is that they have a terrific selection of eyeglasses that I have not seen anywhere else. I will definitely be back there for my next pair! Great selection and friendly customer service is the best combination!
