He may be a good doctor (knowledge-wise) but he has an overbearing attitude which makes the patient experience less than stellar. Patients should never be made to feel like idiots for asking questions to further clarify their condition or treatment options. I have never felt more disrespected or disregarded by a doctor. I hope that this doctor can learn a little humility and improve his communication skills. He makes for a poor representation of the high standards one would expect from a provider associated with UCLA.

Dr. Schwartz has been my eye doctor specialist for over 15 years. I owe my life to him. He has saved my only eye I have vision in more than once. He always makes me feel like I'm part of his family and just another patient. I really think I would be blind if it wasn't for him.
