I'm very happy with Astorino & Associates. Everyone I have encountered there does their job well. I have been seeing Dr. Barsegian since May on the recommendation of my OD, who told me she had the perfect cataract surgeon for me! Anything "medical" can trigger anxiety for me so I can be a bit of a pain. Dr. Barsegian is an exceptional doctor; very skillful, thorough and kind. She explains everything she's going to do to my eyes prior to doing it which I find helpful. All the available IOL options were discussed several times throughout the process. She can be as firm as steel with me when needed, and also tender enough to melt my heart.
I believe that she genuinely cares about my eye health and also about me in general. I couldn't have been paired with a better surgeon and I'm so grateful for both her and my OD.

Dr. Cahoon and the entire staff are ABOVE and BEYOND wonderful My husband and I transferred from another prominent ophthalmologist in Orange CA several years ago due to inefficiencies with in the office staff and examinations with the doctor and his assistants. Even though the office was within a mile from our home, we now simply look forward to driving to Dr Cahoon's office 45 minutes away due to the improved care and attention provided to us. DONOT HESITATE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT!

Dr. Cahoon performed both of my cataract surgeries. He was very careful and clear about all aspects of the surgeries-the before, during, and post surgery. Can't say enough great things about Astorino & Associates and Dr Cahoon. I was on a business trip and had an eye issue - Chat GPT told me to go directly to Astorino and it was the right call - was able to get in for an exam immediately, was prescribed drops for an eye infection and their team even called in medication to my pharmacy out of state. Only wish they were closer to my home to be my regular Eye Center.

I was referred to Dr. Cahoon from the ER for what turned out to be a viral infection of the cornea. Everyone in the office was personable and professional and the office itself was spotless. I had to undergo several tests and had first-hand experience w/ much of their equipment, which is all state-of-the-art. Dr. Cahoon himself is warm, extremely knowledgeable and explained what was going on to me in great detail with patience and good humor. I highly recommend this practice.

I've had the pleasure of being treated by opthalmologist Jenny Hu, M.D., at Astorino & Associates Eye Center for a couple of years now. I first went in with an eye infection, which resolved within 10 days, after her excellent assessment and care. I've then been followed by her to ensure the general health of my eyes/eyesight. Dr. Hu is highly knowledgeable and skilled, very kind, and explains everything clearly and succinctly. At the end of each appointment, she always asks if I have any other questions of her. Astorino & Associates also has state-of-the-art testing equipment. In addition, the staff is wonderful, and the optometrist (who was able to see me in the same time frame as my appointment with Dr. Hu:) gave me the best lens prescription I've had in years. I highly recommend Dr. Hu and these offices and will definitely continue coming here for all of my eyecare!
