My boyfriend and I have been seeing Dr. Kurteeva for many years, and we cannot recommend her enough. She is an exceptional professional: knowledgeable, thoughtful, and refreshingly straightforward. Kurteeva Katerina is an exceptional eye doctor, and I'm incredibly grateful for her care.
She treated me for a corneal abrasion in October of last year and an eye infection in January of this year, both of which were extremely painful and stressful at the time. Her diagnosis, medical intelligence, and calm approach made all the difference. She quickly identified what was going on and put me on the right treatment plan, which led to real relief and proper healing.
When you're dealing with eye issues, it can be scary, and she brought not only expertise but reassurance throughout the process. I'm very thankful doctors like her exist and feel fortunate to have been under her care during those moments.

I had an awful experience with Dr. Kurteeva and her office. I waited over an hour past my appointment time before realizing they had completely forgotten about me. Only after I went to the front desk did anyone even acknowledge I was still waiting.
When I was finally seen, Dr. Kurteeva spent barely five minutes with me. She seemed rushed, uninterested, and made it clear she couldn't help -- yet still prescribed something and billed me for a full visit. It honestly felt like she was just checking a box to charge for the appointment.
To make things worse, her referral note was confusing and the billing department refused to waive the charge, even though I received no real care or help. The whole experience felt careless and money-driven.
I've never left a review like this before, but patients deserve to know what they're walking into. I strongly recommend finding another doctor who values your time and actually listens.

Horrible experience. My mom was worked in as a self-pay for urgent shingles in her eye. Dr. Kurteeva rushed in, spent maybe 2 minutes with her, didn't do a full exam, and barely let us ask questions. Prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy, and when we finally got it, the dosage was wrong -- confirmed later by her primary doctor, which delayed recovery.
When I asked about the $160 consult fee for essentially 2 minutes of care, staff brushed me off. Veronica told me "services were rendered" and even claimed the doctor wouldn't prescribe shingles medication because she's "an eye doctor." Clearly the staff isn't even educated on their own doctor's role.
No follow-up, no accountability, and no quality care. Rushed, careless, and dismissive from start to finish. Strongly do not recommend.
