Glaucoma Care Center

This is written on behalf of Kathy Martland. I had been diagnosed with Glaucoma but had no idea as to what extent it had progressed. I made an appointment to see Dr. Alena Reznik. The first time I made the appointment with Julie I knew I was in good hands as she assured me I would be examined by Dr. Reznik. I was given a thorough examination and was so RELIEVED to know that I would retain my sight. I cannot adequately describe the peace of mind knowing that I was being treated and monitored. Dr. Reznik explained the symptoms I was experiencing (which incidentally had nothing to do with the Glaucoma). Thank you also to Julie and Brenda who perform the scheduling for their sensitivity. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Alena Reznik. I was referred to her during one of the most terrifying times of my life and she has been nothing short of amazing. Her expertise, consideration, vast network of specialists, and patience are what I think most professionals should aspire towards. She's not only been able to help me better understand how my vision has been impaired, but also the best steps to work towards treatment. From this point on, anyone in need of eye specialist, especially glaucoma related will be hearing her name as I sing her praises for just being an all around amazing person to engage with during this very scary time. I know they'll be in good hands professionally and with someone who will go above and beyond to provide the help/care that is required.

I started going to Dr Alena Reznik for Glaucoma after she was highly recommended to me from several sources, including other Doctors. Recently she performed a procedure (Idose) which went flawlessly and has enabled me to be free of the glaucoma drops and all their serious side effects. I was loosing my sight from high eye pressure that was not being treated properly. I asked for advice from a professional who told me about this practice. I immediately was sent to surgery for both eyes with great success. I tell all I know about this practice.

I have had the pleasure of seeing both Drs Alena and Jacob Reznik. Dr Alena Reznik diagnosed my glaucoma and performed laser surgery in her office to relieve the pressure in my eyes saving me from certain vision loss without the need for eyedrops with their side effects. I will always be thankful for the diagnosis since glaucoma does silent damage if left untreated. Besides her professional knowledge, she is a very caring kind person. Dr. Jacob Reznik operated on my cataracts and despite my many eye problems previous lasix surgery, glaucoma, macular degeneration, myopia, he restored my vision to 20/20 without glasses. He is an amazing surgeon and I would recommend him to everyone wanting this procedure. I feel reborn with my new eyes. Besides his incredible professional knowledge, he is a master communicator explaining everything in simple understandable terms. These two doctors have a rare passion for their professional calling and a kind, compassionate repoire with their patients. This attitude is reflected in their office manager, Julie and the front desk employees.

WOW, how refreshing! Courteous, efficient and kind staff. But that's not all, Dr. J Reznik was great. Lots of information and no sales pitch. I will definitely be back! Thanks again Doc.

These guys are the best. I have seen them for me. Prevention for a couple of years, and they are always very upbeat and pleasant. They were in a good practice and are very accommodating to patients. Very rarely do I ever have a weight? And when I am ill sitting in a room it is always untaskill with their schedule. They are always very respectful of your time.And even accommodating, if you screw up and miss your appoint.

This is a great office to visit. We go to a ton of medical offices, so it takes a lot to get us to write a review. The staff is super nice and helpful, and they are very considerate about our safety. Alena is very friendly and caring, and they explain things in a very easy to understand way. For people who are considering going here, and you have concerns about your health, they will wear masks to protect you - just ask! Their office is pretty accessible, and their exam rooms are fairly large and clean. The elevators in the building are a bit tiny, but not much they can do about that! Parking is ok, but it can be pretty busy at times and there are not a ton of accessible spaces, so plan accordingly. It is Newport Beach after all...
