I wish I could give a million stars. Kimberly/Karina was so quick to respond and help... she is an absolute gem. Dr. Kermani is professional and beyond knowledgeable. Fantastic care and service!

I have been visiting Newport Eye Physicians and Dr. Kermani for the past 5 years and he has always done a superb job. His friendliness and knowledge helped make the entire process as seamless as possible. All the staff are also so kind and willing to help. Great office!

Do not trust Dr. Barnett or her staff - they are dishonest, unethical, and greedy. I selected them from my Blue Cross insurance plan. I reconfirmed they take my insurance upon scheduling. They copied my insurance card & took my co-pay up front. Then at the end of the appointment, they claimed they don't take my insurance and attempted to talk me into paying cash. I balked, as this appeared to be a bait & switch scheme enabling them to make more money verses accepting a lower negotiated insurance rate. But I did agree to pay $250. for a complete contact lens fitting, which is very expensive for this service. After 3 weekly fitting appointments, Dr. Barnett could not find a proper lens for me. Incompetence? She said her process can take extra time. I asked for contact lens pricing, but they wouldn't provide me with pricing because she hadn't yet identified a fit. Then I learned they would charge me $75 for a prescription thereupon, an undisclosed hidden fee, as this was to be included in the $250. I paid. Two other lens providers told me this was not standard practice. Dr. Barnett Only attempted to fit me with Daily lenses, refusing to try Weekly or Bi-Weekly lenses when I requested. Other providers told me this was so she could make the most money. When I asked to try two final lens samples which were recommended to me, her office sent me a letter saying they have concluded the lens fitting process. In this letter, they told me they applied my $250 toward the Eye Exam (which was covered by my insurance) and that since her lens fitting was complementary, they were abandoning me without completing it. So here I sit without a proper lens fitting which I paid $250 for.

Dr. Kermani is amazing! Very knowledgeable, kind and caring, I highly recommend him!
