Dr. Jessa is a gifted professional. Her work stands out amidst the 5+ eye doctors I have had over the years. On my first visit, she spent over an hour assessing, measuring, and asking me about my vision and what would work for me. It's incredibly refreshing as a patient to be listened to and treated as a unique case. Very satisfied with the team members I have interacted with.

I took my 93 yr old grandmother in for an eye exam. I was so impressed with how Dr Jessa VanCleeck explained everything so clearly and was very patient with my grandmother. She has dementia and I was nervous to bring her in but the staff was excellent and the whole experience went really well.

I have been going to Old Newport Optometry for about 8 years. I am a Physician myself and as result very critical about my care. Now I will be honest, I know nothing about eyes but I can recognize honest quality care quickly. I will not go anywhere else. The great experience starts with the very personable front desk staff. They pick up the phone every time, no call back, no answering service which is so common these days and very frustrating for me and all my patients I talk to. That is not the case here. Dr. Vankleeck is amazing on every level. And trust me I would not say that if it was not true. I first spend about 20 minutes with her amazing technician and then meet with Dr. Vandkleeck for vision acuity and she does a full history to see my needs, explain her concerns, what to look for and when to call back. She is the full package of professionalism, grace, knowledge and compassion. She is a rare find, a Unicorn of sorts that clearly loves her work and genuinely wants to help improve the vision of her patients.

I always have a great experience every time I go for an appointment. I have been seeing Dr. Evan Thomas for glasses and contact lenses, ever since working with his cousins, Bob and Dan, at Bank of Newport, starting in the mid 1970's! He's a great doctor and has a wonderful staff working with him. I would recommend him to anyone! He really knows his stuff!!! It feels like going in to see family and catching up during the appointment!

My family has been seeing Dr. Evan Thomas for years. We think he's the cat's meow. He never fails to make a visit friendly, you laugh, his staff is super efficient and you always get great service from the optometry dept with great choices of style and fast return on your eyewear. He is one fun and extremely talented doctor!

Outstanding staff and very professional service. Dr. Lyndsay Fullam is obviously highly trained and very skilled in her practice. Cleanliness and sterilization of equipment was high priority. I observed Josh showing a young boy his new glasses, making him feel comfortable and happy with his new eyes. A very pleasant experience and a nice selection of frames to choose from. I highly recommend Newport Harbor Optometry!

I have been seeing Doctor Thomas for the last 40 years, and I have been able to see better than the average bear for just as long. I trust his staff and his colleagues, and have had a referral to one of the best ophthalmologists in Newport. Their work was awesome, too.
