Yamamoto Optometry

The staff is wonderful, very polite and courteous, helpful and professional. They were very accommodating and were able to get my 2 kids in promptly. Dr. Nishitani was kind and patient, explained everything well and made my kids feel comfortable. She was thorough and knowledgeable. They have up to date equipment, retinal cameras and an OCT machines, excellent care received.

I won't be back. My insurance would only work for this place. 1. When I finally got my glasses I was having a hard time reading anything. (Figured it was simply me needing to give myself time to adjust.) 2. Four days later I returned to the Optometry shop and said this is not working. I am vomiting and can not see to drive. As I drive a truck that is licensed for as much as 80,000 lbs, accidents are not an acceptable alternative. 3. The shop decided it was my fault from an attack that happened to me in 1976. (I was hit in the head. This damage has never in over 40 years been an issue and I have always been able to see immediately once the glasses were in place.) 4. Adjustments were made to the frame that switched the focus and ended up making my glasses sit askew on my face to be able to see. 5. I switched back to my old glasses until I was able to schedule an appointment to replace the glasses I had already paid for. 6. The next day I went to Lenscrafters, paid the entire bill myself and within one week received, A. One pair of glasses that were the correct prescription,. B. Correct alignment to my face. C. Did not look like someone had tried to turn me into the main actor from Toxic Avenger. (Yes, I am exaggerating as to the severity of the twisted frames.) D. Did not induce projectile vomiting. My advice would be to skip Yamamoto's shop and go straight to another optimetry shop.

I've been going to Dr. Yamamoto for over 15 years and my dad has been going for over 30 years. Dr. Yamamoto is one of the best optimistics I've been to! He's detailed oriented and I believe an expert in his field. I once went to another doctor due to insurance coverage reasons and decided to go back to Dr. Yamamoto and pay out of pocket! Why? Because other doctors don't service my eye needs like Dr. Yamamoto. As a person he is "unique" so I usually have to be a smart ass with him.

My eye doc for years . Find one you trust and like. He is one I trust for my eyes . And makes adjustments so I don't have to struggle so much w my stigmatism. Much appreciated

The only optometrist I will ever go to I've been with them since I was about six and they always made getting an eye exam fun and even till this day they are, in my opinion, the best and so friendly and helpful!

Amazing staff and doctor! I recommend for sure, the staff members make you feel very comfortable and they are very friendly The doctor took her time to explain everything and was very professional I love this place

Terrible experience. While showing my 6 year old the picture of her eyes he starts talking about how she needs to eat vegan and how he had told one person this and they died two weeks later!! To a SIX YEAR OLD. She has been crying for hours. This man should have his license taken away!
