Acuity Eye Group - Palm Desert

I would rate this 0 if I could! This company is an absolute mess. Scheduling done via the call center took an hour on the phone to collect insurance information, I was then asked to send information via email and then call to confirm the local office had received. I did as instructed, and was given confirmation our insurance was accepted, loaded into our anccount and that there was no further action required. We arrived on time, the office asked for all our insurance information again and we waited over an hour past the appointment time. When I went to check with the front desk she said she had no update on when my daughter would be seen. This was for a simple routine eye exam, scheduled weeks in advance. The waiting room was full of people who had also been waiting as long as us past their appointment times. The office was unkempt, crowded, and the staff was unprofessional - having personal conversations loud enough for everyone to hear, sitting on their phones with legs curled up in their chair. I would never recommend this business to anyone! A waste of our time. My daughter was never seen because we left after the horrible experience in their waiting room.

The customer service is great and fast. The communication employees have with each other and with patients can vastly be improved. We're traveling from the Hi Desert so an entire day is dedicated to getting here and going back. Gas at this time is above $4.00 usd per gallon for grade 87. We were scheduled waaaayyyyy too early and were not informed until we were in the last room waiting for the doctor. We were rescheduled a couple weeks later for the eye injection. It's awful to feel an entire day is wasted because we weren't supposed to be here.

This is a busy but very professional and well-run operation from my experience. But in spite of them being busy, I have never felt "hurried through" as in some medical practices, which I think is important. Dr. Samuel has given me excellent care and my most recent visit involved Dr. Beckman who impressed me as well.

I had a great exam. Dr. Alanis was thorough and informative. He told me I needed eye surgery and to make an appointment at the front desk. I spoke with the person at the desk and decided I needed to check my calendar at home and would call back to make the appointment. After many failed calls I decided to wait and try again next week. Maybe I will be successful. Your people are lovely but your phone system needs improvement. Karen Grice

Acuity Eye group is so Organized on their work and professionalism. L9ve how they work with you from 1 room into another. Love that all the Eye doctors are on the same page as your Eye health. I truly recommend Acuity Eye Group to anyone.

Very helpful and professional. Everything from routine eye exams to cataract surgery. Both of us have been very happy with the staff and doctors.

Especially Carlos was very kind and friendly helping me with adjusting my glasses, he went out of his way to help me and he never made any customers wait, he was Beyond my expectations !
