I became a patient at Milauskas Eye Institute after I moved to Coachella Valley a couple years ago. I've had only pleasant experiences at their office on every occasion. From the office staff to the doctors, they have been professional, kind and personable. Dr Donovan, has been especially comforting and has allayed any fear on my visits. He has explained everything thoroughly to me in ways I as a layperson, can understand. Dr Donovan has made me feel like a friend, not a patient. So I did know what to expect when I got there, but I was greeted with a friendly hello and smile from the receptionist. So all was great right form the beginning. The tech who saw me first was very nice as well. She answered all my questions and made me feel they were out for my total best interest. Then the doctor came in to do the examination. Wow... she was very nice and went though all my concerns and answered the questions I had from my primary care doctor at the VA. If you have a problem with your eyes whatsoever, come to the Milauskas Eye Institute here in Palm Desert. You will not be disappointed.

My visit with Dr Abraham was excellent. Her eye examination was very thorough and she told me my eyes were in excellent shape! My eyeglass prescription did not change. Additionally Dr Abraham suggested a remedy for my 'dry eye' issue which has plagued me for many years. It's only been two days but so far all is good. I am very pleased with my experience at Milauskas eye institute. Thank you!

Fast, although running behind, efficient once things got rolling. Used vsp. Their tap to post doesn't always work so bring credit card. They do charge refraction fee if you're using medical insurance, like Medicare, this year it's 70 dollars. Would come again due to availability, staff was nice. Ample parking

Dr Donovan great as always. His back office staff friendly and efficient as well. But.../ front desk personnel acted like they wished they were elsewhere and were not friendly. I experienced the front staff issue as well at the Palm Springs location recently. So, good doctors, but whoever hires and trains the front people is not doing a good job. I know what I am talking about because I am a medical professional who had a private practice for 26 years. I had 18 people working with me. 15 of those were with me 26 years . They treated patients like family in a friendly and caring way, not like they were bothered because their Starbucks, or private conversation was interrupted by a patient checking in.
