Acuity Optical - Palm Desert El Paseo

Ok, there's a lot of words here, but do yourself a favor and if you have any needs with your eyes, read 'em... I went to this El Paseo, Acuity Optical location to get my eye exam for my new prescription done and it was the best choice I could've made! At first, when they explained to me that the exam would be done using some very high-tech new computer systems that they have there in the office and then a doctor would come online remotely to go over the information and finalize the correct prescription for me, to be honest, I was very skeptical and a bit hesitant. However, A friendly and totally professional and patient associate named LAURA promised me that it would go very well and that I would be very happy with the results so I took her word for it and gave it a shot... Well, she was absolutely right! I asked a million questions during the exam and she was nothing but professional, friendly and patient and made the entire experience actually really fun and interesting! She was awesome. My exam was the most thorough and accurate I think I have ever gotten and believe me, I've had a lot over the years. Then the doctor came on the screen remotely and once again, I was totally surprised by how professional patient and thorough she was as well. I left there feeling confident and happy with my choice, and I actually had a great time! When I returned to pick up the first pair of glasses they made for me a week or so later, FRAN, another associate at that location was equally friendly, professional and patient and seemed genuinely concerned that I would be 100% happy with my new glasses, and I absolutely am! They came out great. When I returned a few days later to pick up a second pair, the manager, MELISSA was there, and she must be drinking the same Kool-Aid or something, because she was also super friendly, professional and accommodating ,once again making the whole experience feel more like I was visiting a friend and picking up a gift instead of a shop and a pair of glasses... I can't recommend this specific location highly enough, due to those three ladies' awesome caring, patient and professional candor and energy. Do yourself a favor and if you have any eye exam or eyeglass related needs, pop into THIS shop on El Paseo and ask for any one of those three associates and I bet you'll have the best experience getting glasses you've ever had. Unless of course, maybe they haven't had their morning coffee yet!!! (Just kidding) And by the way, I've never written a review this long, let alone many reviews, but I figure we should recognize excellence and professional kindness in the world today because unfortunately, it seems to be becoming exceedingly rare nowadays... So let's all pay it forward when we get it and maybe ALL OF US can help make the world just a little bit of a better place, one kind turn at a time! Something to hope for... -R

This was my first visit to Acuity Optical on El Paseo, and it was a wonderful experience! The location is inviting and beautifully appointed. It was also my first Telehealth eye exam, and I found it quite interesting and efficient. Laura and Carlos were both friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for excellent eye care and service.

Extremely helpful staff. Laura was so patient and so professional. Was able to help me save money and get the glasses I needed. This is the second year I come to them. I'm so glad I did.

Alexis was incredible, she got us in on short notice and was patient and attentive when we hit issues confirming insurance. Oscar helped me through the exam and made sure to explain everything as we went. Absolutely 5 star experience, I'm definitely coming back for future appointments and glasses!!

I really enjoyed coming into this Acuity location. This was our 3rd visit and as always the service was amazing. Alexis is extremely nice and helpful. She took the time to explain everything and made the visit very comfortable. Her customer service is stellar. Previously we also dealt with Kendrick who also is very nice and extremely helpful. This is the best location to go to for our optometry needs. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience! All the workers (Alexis, Carlos, Laura, and Nick) were so nice, and helpful. They have a wide selection of frames that can fit anyone's preferences/style. Meeting with the doctor through zoom was so efficient and smooth. Will definitely get more pairs of glasses soon!

Alexis was warm and welcoming, which helped ease my nerves after not visiting the optometrist in a while. Her kindness made the entire experience comfortable and even enjoyable. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment now.

My recent experiences with Fran & Carlos were excellent. They were both very personable and went out of their way to be helpful. I would recommend Acuity Optical-El Paseo and Fran & Carlos highly.
