I have a complicated eyes and Dr Mcmahill's prescription has been perfect over the years. I split my time between the desert and elsewhere - each time I have gotten tested elsewhere I end up wanting to return to Dr. Mcmahill for a better prescription. I get my prescription filled at Park View Optical in Cathedral City, a top notch Optical shop with great service.

Doctor's nice but each time I've come in, the girls at the front at the La Quinta location always seem very disinterested and don't explain things very well! Wasn't given any directions for my contacts (or given any contacts case for them) wasn't told to bring them in for my follow-up appointment-- simple questions I ask, they seem bothered by. The customer service/attitude should be improved. It makes me dread coming back

Having nothing to say about Dr. McMahill professionally, but customer service is poor. My husband has Medicare as his primary insurance and we were told that he did not file insurance claims except for certain vision policies. We filed with Medicare personally personally but was notified that the claim could not be filed without statement from Dr. McMahill that he did not file Medicare claims. We reached out to his office for the statement and after a week we were told that he would not give us the statement and was not required to. This is a warning to all Medicare patients seeking to use their Medicare benefits. You will get no help from Dr. McMahill.
