Lisa Berkowitz, Optometrist

Dr. Lisa Berokwitz is absolutely incredible! She's highly knowledgeable, easy to schedule appointments with, and fully transparent about what insurance covers--there are no hidden fees, which is such a relief. I recently switched to a different brand of monthly contacts that kept getting microtears, causing me to run out of my annual supply early. Dr. Berokwitz went above and beyond to make sure I wasn't left without contacts. She personally reached out to the manufacturer to secure replacements quickly, saving me the hassle. She genuinely cares about her patients, and her level of service is unmatched. Without a doubt, she's the best optometrist in the Bay Area!

I was referred to Lisa by a pilot friend of mine. She was highly praised by him. Now I would like to highly recommend Lisa to anyone seeing this post. She was very thorough in her exam. The appointment was easy to make. Plenty of parking in the street. Easy to find. She recommended places to have the glasses made at reasonable prices and good quality.

I had an excellent experience with Lisa Berkowitz. She and Gina greeted me with a smile. My eye examination was very thorough. What I like best is she explained what she was doing. Her staff (Gina) took the time to help me pick out new frames even went past closing time. I have been going to Lisa for several years now. I highly recommend her!

I've been going to her for over 20 years and I always feel she does a great job making sure my eyes are doing well; not just my vision, but eye health too. She's really nice, answers any/all my questions, does her best to accommodate even last minute appointments, and is happy to recommend good quality halloween contacts that don't harm your eyes. I highly recommend her.

They said they accept my insurance before making the appointment. After my eye exam, I was not allowed to touch her frame because they don't accept my insurance for glasses, I wish she had told me before my exam. I would had not make appointment for it. Now I have to look for a new store for frames. Her customer service is horrible too. She was hurry wanted me to leave so that she can clean the store and had me stood outside for my Pupils spacing number, will never come back!

Great independently owned local business. They scheduled me for the next day and I was in and out in 45 minutes with a new contact prescription. A very pleasant experience. Lisa is very nice and lovely to talk to.

Dr. Berkowitz gave a very thorough eye exam. She did not make me wait at all, and I was in and out of her office very quickly. The office is small, but it is very "one-on-one" and a lot of attention was given to the health of my eyes.

Lisa was very kind and made sure to explain everything she was looking at and all of my results. The exam started on time and was efficient and thorough. Great experience!
