Dr. Peterson and his entire staff are fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable team. My most recent prescription and glasses are the most accurate I have had in 35 years of wearing contacts and glasses.

I went here for an eye exam. I scheduled a contact lens set up because I'm running low on my supply, which they charge $160 for. When I got home, I tried one of the lenses that they provided in a free trial set of five single lenses. I then decided that given the exam was so expensive and I only need them for a short while, it really wasn't a wise decision. I canceled the appointment later the SAME DAY. They only refunded $120. So they charge $40 for a same day cancellation / five single lens trial case. That is exorbitant in my opinion. The optometrist also suggested a procedure for dry eye issues I'm having. I decided to wait on that too. I went to a different Dr. I'm so glad I waited! She indicated that daily eye drops and a warm compress at night will likely clear up my problem, since it is mild. If not, then we will proceed to other alternatives. Finally, I asked what they would charge for a contact lens exam. $59 for someone like me, who has already used them. $100 less. I will not be returning to this optometrist.

I had taken my son here because I saw glowing reviews online and I really wanted a doctor that was going to give him the most accurate prescription, and the reviews were great so we went. Set up first appointment and the doc says he needs to do another exam a little later, and I agree. The first appointment was a little odd, as the doctor seemed frazzled and annoyed. When they call to set up an appointment, I asked the man on the phone if it's exactly the same exam again or if it's a more detailed one and the man on the phone says, it's to check for nerve damage and I say great, see you then. We arrive and the doctor again tells me I can't stand in a certain section of his office, okay I move. Then I ask if we are here to check for nerve damage and he gets angry and says No?? This is just a regular old eye exam? Then why are you doing the same exact thing twice? Seems like a money grab. Then he proceeds to belittle me in front of my son, and is oddly smiling when he's saying really weird aggressive things. My son was so confused and asked if the doctor was okay? And I had to say he just had a bad day. But honestly hes a grown man, and it's a professional setting and I am a paying customer, just be NICE! The bar is so low for these doctors it's crazy. But I wanted to make sure my review is also here in case any young moms want to take their kids here. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Dr. Peterson and his staff are awesome! I went in for a basic eye exam and left feeling spoiled. I learned so much about my eyes and my prescription. The options for glasses and sunglasses were just my style. Margie knew exactly what would look good on my face with my complexion. They made sure I was happy with my choices. Glad I finally got an eye exam.

Dr. Ken Petterson and staff are wonderful . They get 5 stars from me! I have been going there for a few years now and I can tell they really do care about their patients. They always have the best brands and selection of eye wear, the staff is friendly , they are patient with you when you are looking for "just the right glasses" and I can tell that they take a collaborative approach to servicing the needs of their patient's. Just yesterday, I was in and putting on contacts for the first time. They scheduled out a whole hour to train me on how to do it and they were so kind, encouraging and patient as I was learning how to put the lenses in and take them out. Client for life! DR. PETERSON IS MY FAVORITE DOCTOR IN THE UNIVERSE! I have been a patient since I was 16 years old and actually look forward to my yearly visit to his office. The support staff up front are always so genuine, friendly and incredibly accommodating. And the doc, well he's just the bees knees! Dr. Peterson and his staff were especially accommodating when I unexpectedly had to move back to the central coast from Denver during the very beginning of quarantine and desperately needed an eye exam so I could order my annual supply of contacts. They were so so nice and squeezed me in last minute in the late afternoon the day before they had to shut their doors (briefly) due to the pandemic. I will never forget their 5 star service and always recommend this office to anyone needing excellent eye care!

I've always been afraid of going to the optometrist. But Dr. Peterson changed that instantly! He is so friendly, thorough with the exam, and made me feel comfortable to ask questions. I never felt like he was rushing through my exam just to go see his next patient. The staff is really accommodating and there was practically zero wait time. Highly recommended his office!

The staff here is AMAZING!! The doc is great, with updated technology and attention to detail and the gal that helps you select glasses knows her stuff! She always gets me to try things I would never think would look good, and I'm always pleasantly surprised! And the receptionist and other people who help in the office are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Always look forward to seeing everyone at our yearly appointments. Highly recommend!
