Pismo Beach Optix

My husband and I have bought several pairs of glasses from Lisa and we have always been very happy with the service and glasses we get there. My last visit there is what prompted me to sit down and write this review. I bought a pair a month or two ago but they never felt comfortable so when I went back to Lisa she ordered me new glasses, made sure they were a better fit and she did all this at no cost. I couldn't be happier with my new glasses. Lisa cares about making sure her customers and happy and can see clearly. Thank you Lisa for the great job you do for us.

Lisa is not merely a wonderful person, she is a consummate professional who has recently received a prestigious award for her work in the city of Pismo Beach. We wouldn't go to any other place for our glasses. Lisa is the best!

I'm from out of town 4 hours away, so when I bent my prescription sunglasses, it was important for me to get them fixed for the drive home. While waiting I noticed her beautiful selection of sunglasses and worried mine might not be able to be fixed. A few minutes later Lisa came out cheerfully with it all repaired! On top of that, there was no charge! Highly tecommend!

How lucky I was to find Lisa at Piso Beach Optix. I had a broken arm on my Maui Jim sunglasses that were bought years ago in a different city. Local opticians that once serviced these told me they no longer do. I looked up Maui Jim merchants and there she was. One repair turned into the purchase of another backup pair in a fast, effective, friendly few appointments. Lisa is first-class knowledge and service with a few extras added in. So glass to have her nearby!

I wanted to purchase a good pair of prescription sunglasses and decided to check out what Pismo Beach Optix had on offer. Lisa was very helpful, took time to show me a lot of options and (quite easily) convinced me to invest in a pair of Maui Jims. They were a great choice and I've been very pleased with them. Lisa then went above and beyond when I broke part of the hinge on the Jims ... I was expecting a big repair but Lisa took on the repair without cost, even though she didn't have the part to hand. All in all - Lisa and Pismo Beach Optix has been a great experience and I would recommend their services very happily.

Lisa is the BEST! I've been coming here for about 7 years and every single time it's been an amazing experience. She truly cares how the glasses feel and look on you! She is so honest and has the best selection of glasses too. If you want the best experience this is the place to go!

I was looking to update my frame and prescription because i had the same glasses and prescription for about 5 years. I called Pismo Beach Optix and spoke to a lovely Lisa. We scheduled my appointment for the next day. I came in (we both had our masks on because of covid of course) and Lisa showed me around her store. Lisa is very knowledgeable of glasses and sunglasses and knows which look best depending on the person that is trying them on. After trying a couple of different styles we ended up going with the Neubau Oskar glasses! They have a more classic look, a lighter frame and i just love the way the look on me haha. After that Lisa did my exam which was an absolute breeze. She asked about my job and what type of work i do. I told Lisa i do a lot of computer work so i felt that my eyes were a bit more sensitive to light. Lisa suggested that i go with a special coating called recharge by Hoya which reflects blue light! We also went with self tinting glasses because i always wanted a pair of prescription sunglasses and this option would be the best of both worlds. before leaving she cleaned and polished my lenses on my old glasses which i could not believe Thank you again Lisa. 2 days later she called me and told me my glasses were ready for pickup. So i went in and tried them on. OMG it was like going from SD to HD. Lisa adjusted my glasses to fit my head properly and then we walked outside. I could see so much further than before and the colors seem more vibrant! I honestly just stood outside looking up and down the street amazed at what i could see and with the auto tint the sun was less straining on my eyes. 2 weeks later my eyes are fully adjusted to my new lenses and i do actually notice a positive difference being on my computer all day. From out of town and my dog swiped at me and broke my glasses in half. Hard to do much in only sunglasses and I had planned on going out to dinner etc. handicapped. As a walk-in I thought I would be lucky if I could even get them glued temporarily. But they have a extensive selection of frames and found one that fit perfectly. Installed, adjusted, new case, lens towel, cleaner and I was on my way. Most efficient and nicest people in the world. Highly recommend them. Thank you Optix!
