Dr. Prendiville listened patiently as I described the visual changes I was experiencing in my left eye. After conducting several tests and a scan of my eyes, he diagnosed me and then took the time to show me (on the lab computer) precisely what has taken place in my eye. Very impressive! The fact that he took the time to show me, made me glad to have seen him today. Then he set me up with a retinal specialist closer to my home. I will definitely be returning to see him again.

This was my first visit to Shaaf Eye Center. Dr. Prendiville listened attentively to my concerns, did a thorough exam, helped me stay calm during a difficult procedure, explained what was going on and how we would deal with various contingencies. He sent me home with a printout of the most important information, had me make an appointment to come back in a month, and detailed the conditions under which I could safely cancel that appointment. I learned a few days later that a knowledgeable friend of mine and my friend's mom have been satisfied patients of Dr. Prendiville for many years.

Yahoo! Dr. Prendiville is a GENIUS in his field! I was blind in one eye and only 30% vision in the other eye. Now, thanks to Dr. Prendiville, I can see beautifully with both eyes, distance and close. This doctor is so skillful that I didn't even have any complications. Before finding Dr. Prendiville, two other renowned ophthalmologists warned me that cataract surgery would most likely cause great complications and infection due to the thickness of the cataract, and I might never be able to see again. Well... they were wrong. Dr. Prendiville simply, and confidently said he could give me my eyesight back. And he did it! Wow! I am forever thankful to Dr. Prendiville. If you are looking for a genius surgeon, Dr. Prendiville is #1. The best!

Going in for cataract surgery is rather frightening. Dr prendiville is very calming and reassuring that all will go very well. He explained everything in detail. The office staff also were very professional.. they gave me all the paperwork I asked for and handled the office well

Dr. Prendiville was great! So knowledgeable and even gave me his cell phone number to call if I needed him. He gave me so much information to prepare me for my cataract surgery. The office staff was another story. Staff everywhere hanging out behind the counter and never acknowledged my arrival. I sat down and 15 minutes later I came to the desk again, backs turned, I had to say excuse me, I need to sign in. (Only 4 people sitting in chairs in the lobby at that time) Response was "we saw you". Nurse who took me into the room was cold and lacked engagement. Again, doctor was great, the rest of the staff need some training!
