Dr. Martin is professional while personable and easy to connect with. I highly recommend coming here for your eye doctor needs.

Dr Martin is a great Optometrist. But his staff is scary. I picked out a clear frame. I said this to the lady handling the glasses. She yelled at me 'no you didn't' you picked out black frame. I kept my hands away from her. Afraid I might be bitten.

Dr. Martin is just wonderful and knows that every time he checks your eyes it not the same even though it is the same person because there is always a change. He makes sure your needs are met no matter how many times or how much time it takes. Usually insurance has set time for coverage after initial treatment but Dr. Martin made sure I got my glasses right and worked with insurance people. Courtney is the best customer service representative; she takes time to listen your concerns and make sure it's resolved.

Dr Martin did a great job with my difficult prescription. After numerous visits we got it right. It is important to note that you should wait at least 1 month or more after cataract surgery because your eye changes over the recovery period. This is amplified if you have had Lasix or prehistoric RK surgery.

I like the Dr and have gone to him for many years but I do want to make some statements. 1) Since you seem to discredit people by saying they haven't gone there, I don't use my legal name on here, but it is Bobbi Niko and I've been a patient since yall were at Dan's. 2) This isn't to do with my review but, the front desk staff DOES have terrible communication issues. My mom died and I couldn't drive because I couldn't see.. I called several times to see if there was an update on my contact lenses, I even asked if my contact lenses were not in for somebody to just call me back and tell me that and nobody did. My husband had to physically go to your office after waiting 2 weeks for contact lenses that had already been paid for and miraculously they had just arrived before he walks through the door. 3) dr. Martin gave me little to no information about wearing contact lenses with an astigmatism. He also made the comment that my eyes had heavy protein buildup but did not direct me on how to handle that or why that would be something that I should understand about. I had no idea how contacts worked for somebody with an astigmatism, I am now aware that I need probably Air Optix or something like that and I will be going to a different doctor for this. 4) every single time I get a pair of glasses there whether it be out of pocket or insurance, which I've had to do both, they break within six months. And I don't just mean something cracks I mean they crumble to pieces. I'm aware that the glasses are not made at your location, but regardless this is my experience. 5) I'm rather disappointed to read some of the reviews that I read here, I was hoping my experience was singular. I now fear I have been getting subpar Vision Care for the last decade. Between the staff and the lack of professionalism I will no longer be going here.

I was very dissappointed when I showed up as being a new patient today and waiting 2 weeks for my appointment. I called them 10 minutes before my appointment and notified them I was on the way and needed directions. I arrived and then was told I was too late and would have to reschedule and the front office staff was very rude and disrespectful! I will never go here again nor recommend anyone else! to do so! I hope the doctor knows how rude his staff represents his office. Very sad!

It's the staff that I have an issue with, I got a text in October 9 th to schedule an appointment which I did, and was scheduled in December 29th. The day before the appointment around 5 pm I was told they made an error and I was't planned to come in until May 2021 they blamed insurance. They had 3 months to review this information before it got to this point. Btw they never called me back to apologize or reschedule, Super disappointed and this the second time this has happened.

I started seeing Dr. Martin in SLC years ago, and I later followed him over to Redding. He is perfectly professional and kind. His office staff is just as welcoming and helpful. Check them out down town.
