I've never really had an opinion on an eye care provider, it was just something that needed to be done and then it was over. Always been an in and out , hi and bye experience. This visit was completely the opposite! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the doctor was awesome! Great personality and had no issues answering any of my questions, he did so with great explanations that I could actually understand. I've never returned to the same eye care provider for a second time, but this one I will definitely keep returning to for all my vision needs. I have already recommended them to my coworkers and friends. Thank you!

This was my first time using Lens Crafters in Redding CA.
I was able to make an appointment online for the very next day. I filled in forms and sent photos of my insurance card online as well. So when I went in, everything was set up and ready!
The staff was so friendly. The doctor, who examined me via zoom, spent more time talking with me and giving me advice than any optometrist I have ever been to.
I felt their selection of frames were great and I will be able to get my 2 pair of glasses within 10 days.
In comparison, my previous optometry office could not get me in for 3 weeks.
I was very pleased and will sending my family to Lens Crafters!

The entire experience- from paperwork with Nate, through technician, optometrist and optician- was first rate.
I manage and coach technical staff to create transformative customer experiences, and I will use the LC Redding team as an example going forward. All were friendly, helpful, efficient and, most importantly, appeared to have passions for their roles. It's been a while since I have seen a team seem to all enjoy what they were doing :-)
Never expected to have the best customer experience I have had in years while updating my eyeglasses, but it happened today. Amazing job!

The Lady who did my eye exam was amazing! She went above and beyond and answered all my questions. I felt so comfortable with her and she gets 5 stars. I only rated it 3 because of the doctor. I would give him 0 stars if I could! The doctor was rude, short, I felt rushed and he was overall an unpleasant man. If I knew he would be the doctor I would have went elsewhere. The only thing that made my visit worth it was the lady doing the exam, she was such a joy and needs a raise! I'll definitely be making a complaint on the doctor with his rude attitude towards me, I'll never see him again. Worse eye doctor ever. Even got my prescription wrong! He said my left eye was stronger than my right when it's ALWAYS been the other way around. I wasted my money on that doctor!

Excellent service and staff. This office uses the most current and updated instruments for eye examinations. Best part, no need to dilate pupils. There is an instrument that can look into your eyes and take a video. Everything went well. Gotta new prescription for glasses and contacts. I already have an appointment for next year. I highly recommend.

The tech (I believe his name was max or Andy) that actually helped me was good he's the only reason for the 2 stars that yall did get. Katie hung up on me when I was asking for directions and, when they didn't have the right information to run my insurance they didn't tell me nor stop my exam, they used a machine for a test that my insurance didn't cover and didn't tell me until after my appointment was over that my insurance didn't cover it so I had to pay out of pocket for it. Additionally the doctor himself wasn't even present for my exam it was done via video chat so I'm not even sure my prescription is accurate, I am extremely unhappy and won't be returning.

CORRECTION : Year is 2023. I had made 2 appointments for me and a relative over the phone. No problem there.
We arrive a little early. Walk up to the front desk and give our names. The people doing scheduling had deleted and canceled our appointments minutes before we arrived. We even had confirmation texts and emails saying we were all set. None of the people would come out from the lab in the back (with a see through window lol) and the manager was just stumbling over himself at this point.
At best try for somewhere else.
