Bet and Ted did an amazing job helping me get the right contacts. They were able to get me in for a same day eye exam and they made sure I had everything I needed before I left. Customer service was top notch. They deserve a raise!!!! Highly recommend
Good staff, a little new to their jobs but friendly and professional. But, I'm wondering if anyone has ever been able to take advantage of the advertised deal (ie: 2 pair of glasses + eye exam for $79) I ask because my husband and I went in this weekend and thought we would be able to get our exam and glasses for around $200 (more for multivision glasses) or less. Well not even close! They wanted around $800 for 1 pair of glasses... We ended up getting what we could afford, 1 pair of glasses for just under $200. And I got a year supply of contacts for $400+ Completely ridiculous. Needless to say, we do not recommend going there to save money. And we only be returning to pickup our purchases.
Will never come back, went in twice to correct my prescription and second time came out worse than the first one. Assistant didn't know what she was doing, her coworker helped her but made her look dumb instead of explaining what she was doing wrong. Went to Costco instead to get my contact exam and came out with a total different prescription that actually helped my eyesight, NOTHING close to the prescription I got at Stanton. Don't waste your money here.
The staff was super friendly when I went in. But I got two pairs of glasses and within a month the blue light blocking film was peeling off the lenses in big splotches. Everytime I use either one (nearsighted) there are permanent blurrs on both sides. I recently realized I couldn't take it anymore and wanted to order new glasses. I called to get my prescription because I live 2500 miles away now and can't just walk in. The lady told me I would have to come in or get a new prescription because mine would expire soon. I told her again that was impossible I live very far away and I've already looked and there isn't even a Stanton in my state and I just want my prescription. She said again she couldn't give me MY prescription unless I went in. Next second she hung up on me! Maybe it was an accident, idk, but she didn't call back so maybe it wasn't. Anyways, I called corporate and they told me how to get my prescription and I finally have it in my possession now. Holding prescriptions hostage is a shitty sales tactic. And the quality of the glasses was shitty as well. Do not recommend.

The associates here are really friendly. It's easy to get a same day appointment. The office is very clean. The teledoc computer wasn't working right. Then, the eye exam machine that the doctor was working with seemed off. We ordered our contacts. I was told they accept insurance, but at checkout, I was told they don't. The $500.00 price seemed very high. They did give me a mail in coupon for $100.00.
Although staff are quite nice, they leave a lot to be desired. Spent upwards of 2.5 hrs there, mostly waiting for a dr. Pricing was not quite what I expected, and very few are made same day. After all that, I received both an email and a text saying my glasses were ready. I go there and they can't find them, so they say we told you we would call, no they did not, and if so why did I receive both email and text. Whatever, the young lady that the very nice young man went and got , I assume she was a supervisor, was so rude that if my glasses ever get done I refuse to deal with her. I didn't get her name at the time, but I will and will let all know how rude and unaccommandating she was. I can't leave no star otherwise there would be no star.
They helped me out was up visiting family and forgot my contacts they were able to help me get it figured out! You can tell they really care about there customers
Let me start by saying that the staff was very polite and and tried their best to meet my needs during my visit. However, I went in for both new glasses and also new lenses for my existing frames, as well as an eye exam. My disappointment is mainly focused on the eye exam. The employee doing the initial part of the exam was very friendly and easy to work with, but it was vey obvious from the very beginning of the exam that she did not have much experience. She managed to finish the initial screening part of the exam and then put in a request for a qualified eye doctor to come do the "exam" part of the eye test. I was quite surprised to find out that an actual eye doctor was not on staff full time. After waiting for over 45 minutes for an eye doctor to show up, the person that did the initial screening said she was going to do the exam because it was "taking too long for a doctor" to respond and show up for the eye test. During the actual test, her inexperience was even more obvious. She was very uncertain how to conduct the test and even had to bring the store manager in twice during the test to answer questions on how to proceed. She managed to make it through the entire eye exam and was very nice during the whole process, but I could not help but thinking, "this is my vision we're dealing with here" and having major concerns about the quality and validity of the final results of the exam! In hind sight, I should have insisted on waiting for an actual qualified eye doctor before proceeding with the test, but after waiting for almost an hour for a doctor to show up, I just wanted to get the exam (and visit) completed. As of now, I have not actually received my glasses, and can only hope that my new prescription is correct and I have no problems with my vision once I get my new glasses. This was the first time I used Stanton Optical for my vision needs, and unfortunately, probably my last. Oh, and the pricing was quite shocking as well. My vision insurance covered most of the cost of the new frames and lenses, however, the new lenses that will be put into my EXISTING frames costs $557.00!! Not a typo... for a pair of progressive lenses ONLY (no frames). Needless to say, I won't be going back to Stanton Optical in the future.
