I absolutely trust and adore Dr. Chu and his kind staff. When I walk into that office, it feels like home. I've had lasik and a couple of other eye situations, I know Dr. Chu will provide me with a solution.

The office staff and Dr. Chu are nice, but not efficient at all. Dr. Chu recommended a different kind of contacts than what I had been using previously. The first trial contacts took over a week to arrive. Those first trial lenses did not work, and the second trial contacts took an additional week. to arrive - 2 weeks of wearing glasses! Then the second trials did not work either. So I was not about to wait an additional 3rd week of wearing glasses all day. So, I decided to go somewhere else, pay out of pocket for another exam, and got contacts that worked perfectly in 3 business days. I would not go back to Dr. Chu.

Dr. Chu is the best eye doctor I've ever had. I can tell that he really cares about me and my long term eye health. He spent 45 minutes with me today performing my eye exam, answering my questions, recommending supplements, discussing the pros and cons of blue light glasses, and helping me choose my new frames. If you're looking for an eye doctor in the South Bay, he should be your guy!

Even though I had never seen him before, Dr. Chu was so kind to get me in immediately when I woke up with a painful, abraded cornea. He took the time to diagnose and discuss the issue so that I will avoid having this ever happen again. Dr. Chu also cared about how I was doing and had me call on his days off to monitor my healing.
