The nurse and the doctor were very helpful and courteous. Also doctor Christine Peso took a very methodical and attentive method in explaining my cataract condition to me, which I really appreciate it. The doctor explained to me the details concerning a cataract surgery, and whether I should wait to do the surgery until my eyes get truly worse. As you may know or not know, that cataract surgery has a uncomfortable side effect for some patients, that you will a get dry eye condition after the surgery, and you will need eye drops for the rest of your life, and these eye drops are not the inexpensive types at all. In my case, I ask the doctor whether I will get dry eyes or not, and she told me in all honesty that I might or might not get it. Prior to this appointment, I had to have reading glass done, also at Kaiser, so I will wait for them and assess my situation as to whether I can get by with glasses or not. To be truthful, I need them to pass the next DMV reading test. All in all, the appointment with Kaiser was very agreeable, and I will recommend Kaiser wholeheartedly. One thing about Kaiser is that you rarely have to drive around to find the doctor that you need, since everything is within inside the building. Most people don't realize this until they get sick, or real sick. Dr. Christine Peso reminds me of a doctor from a small town. Easy to talk to and easy to be listened to.

My optician Jessica Benitez was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I came in with a prescription for progressives, but I decided I wanted bifocals, so she contacted my Kaiser optometrist and showed me frames while we waited for an updated prescription.

Very speedy--- and young man was courteous and professional simultaneously. I had an appointment, and it took only 30 minutes total. Dr. Laxamana not only filled my prescription but also suggested that I purchase a pair of long-distance glasses for driving. This is a HUGE relief to me, as I have some trouble seeing signs at a distance.

Very attentive to my glasses needs. Good price, reasonable delivery time promise. Work well with hearing impared folks. Highly recommended.

I arrived on time for my Richmond optometry appt and was moved into my appointment room promptly. Dr Lim was very courteous and answered all questions. Very professional.

My helper was very helpful and agreeable. Order one pair and pre-ordered another pair of glasses. Prices were very competitive maybe even better than elsewhere. I also had an eye exam which corrected I problem I had with a previous place's exam prescription.

Although I went to Kaiser San Rafael for my exam (appointment was available a month earlier than at Richmond) I went to Richmond to fill my new post-cataract prescription. I brought my most recent frames, having been told that my benefit would cover only the cost of the new lenses. Alexie was kind and friendly and competent AND figured out my benefits were enough to cover new frames and new lenses ( if I chose a frame no more than around $150. So I did and even had enough for the extra coverage for replacing broken glasses. I had Medicare Senior Advantage Plus and the Medicare post-cataract benefit. How nice to walk out without handing over a credit card. I will take the old frames to Costco for new lenses so I have a backup pair.
