My daughter and I switched to Pt Richmond Optometry from another office in Berkeley where parking was difficult, not as safe and the facility was not clean and quite run down. People were fine and visits were fine, but with their doctor getting older I am so happy to have found Dr Way Yu! The office staff and Dr Yu are very attentive to our questions and concerns, the place is very boutique-like and takes our vision insurance! And, there's a great pizza place around the corner, to boot! Funny coincidence, Dr Yu and I went to neighboring undergraduate colleges, so that connection was a great segway into developing and starting a great relationship with our future eye are professionals. My husband will be making an appointment there soon, too. Thank you

I had a great experience here. This was the most thorough eye exam I've had, with state of the art equipment. Dr Way addressed all of my concerns effectively.and efficiently. The staff- Liberty and Sidney- are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. From the first step in making my appointment, through the exam process, insurance benefit questions and.frame selection, I have experienced nothing short of stellar service.

Thorough eye exams - nice to have the option to avoid dilation using their retinal scan. I've been seen by Dr. Asmus for nearly 30 yrs - she's always pleasant, professional, and good at listening to any eye health concerns.
