Precision Optometry

Always a pleasant experience when I visit Precision Optometry. They have friendly and knowledgeable staff employees always willing to help and make sure you are taken care of. They are also good for working with insurance companies. Would definitely make appointment before going, they can get busy. I highly recommend them! :-)

My whole family has been going here for years. Scheduled an appointment for my son and I a month in advance. I had to cancel at the last minute for a family emergency. Wanted me to pay a $25 fee for each person. I refused to pay as I never have cancelled with them before and the whole family has been going here for years. I asked for the doctor to call me back and if she wants to discuss my reasoning, but never received a call. I assumed since I never heard back that they were not going to charge me the fee. I rescheduled the appointments and I received a message that they won't reschedule us until I pay the fee. I called again and asked for the doctor to call me back and instead she had her receptionist call me with a note she wrote. Very unprofessional, disrespectful and lack of courtesy. Furthermore, they messed up my wife's glasses twice and they would not correct the issue, so now my wife has to wait for a year to be able to order new glasses. This place has really gone down hill. We found a much better optometrist that we love.

This is highly recommended by a friend I trust. I only read the online reviews after making an appointment. The scores are not ideal. I read it very carefully. Most of the reviews are about attitude, insurance, etc., and there is no negative about the doctor's profession. The appointment was made at 9:15 this morning. The following is our experience: 1. A clean and relaxed environment (not big as a whole) 2. The receptionist clearly and earnestly told my son how to fill out the form. . 3. There are two staff who serve the son at the same time (serious, responsible, friendly) 4. After receiving the inspection report, I transferred to the doctor Dr. Brooks. She is very sincere, professional and rigorous. After repeated inspections, I told him that my son was short-sighted. It's too deep and I can't do the original project. She recommends wearing contact lenses (convenient to play volleyball), and patiently teaches my son how to use it. 5. We went back to the receptionist and spent half an hour to teach our son how to use it. 6. Checkout at a reasonable price (about two hours in the whole process). We are very satisfied with the process from the service (comfortable), professional and sincere, recommending suitable products for guests (no sales) , as a long-term salesperson, I pay great attention to personal feelings, and this is a very satisfying experience.

The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. I received assistance from Michael who was a big help! The store is clean and they have a great selection of frames.

The eye doctor was not good at getting my prescription right. I have worn contacts and glasses for just over 40 years and never encountered an eye doctor that didn't know how to work with astigmatism and light sensitivity. She was also very curt and rude. I had to go back 3 times and still left with a mediocre prescription. I only changed eye doctors due to moving. The doctor was also very rude to her staff. The 2 staff members that were nice to me got in trouble for it. The rest of the staff were incredibly rude. One lady was doing aggressive collections in the lobby and talking very poorly about the customers and one of the other staff members continued with inappropriate comments about customers. It was the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. P.S. There seems to be a lot of fake positive reviews on here.

I called Precision Optometry because my husband was having vision issues and our current optometrist could not get him in for almost 2 months. I was able to get a weekend appointment for my husband and scheduled 3 of my children appointments as well. I figured that if we didn't like this office we could always go back to our old optometrist. Well, we will be staying with Precision Optometry! Not only were they prompt about our appointment time (with all 4 appointments!) which shows me they respect my time as their customer, but their staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Brooks worked very well with my children and took the time to explain the different options for my husband that we have never even heard of at our old optometrist. When picking out their new frames my children's likes and dislikes were listened to and they found adorable glasses (that were within our insurance budget!) that they all love. All of the glasses were ready sooner than we expected and they were fitted to each person properly before we left. I am very happy with our experience and I would highly recommend Precision Optometry to anyone!

Very professional staff, thorough exam with explanations as to my eye health and suggestions were offered. The staff is friendly and easy to talk with, they are very helpful and eager to answer any questions or issues. The Doctor is very nice, easy to talk to and helpful with any question you may have. The office is in a very nice location and is very clean, neat and comforting to be in. The staff is not pushy with glasses or frames you choose. They offer up ideas and suggestions with what looks nice on your face regardless of what the cost is. I will go back and refer other people I know to this office. Gerry the Doctor was excellent!

After tiring of driving to Auburn to my previous eye doctor, I found Precision Optometry mere minutes from my home. I had a very good experience with Dr Brooks and the staff. She is thorough and personable. Then last month when my 7 yr old daughter with special needs complained of headaches and images splitting apart, I felt confident that Dr Brooks would be patient with her so I took her in. The doctor did a great job and had no problems relating to my daughter or figuring out ways to get her to cooperate and stay present with the exam. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend them!
