Griffin & Reed Eye Care

I heard about Griffin & Reed through RAD radio and I am so glad I had my LASIK surgery done here. I have worn glasses since I was 11 years old and have always been nervous about the surgery. Dr. Kim is amazing and he made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. He answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident. In surgery, he explained every step and action he was taking, making me feel and know that I was in good hands. The recovery process was so much faster than I expected. Thank you so much Dr. Kim and staff! I can't thank you enough for helping me lose the glasses and wake up each morning with perfect vision. Highly recommend!!!

All I can say is WOW! I had PRK done just over a week ago and I am telling you, DO NOT believe any of the horror stories that you hear about it. First off, Dr. Maboudi is absolutely incredible, kind and patient. She explained every detail of PRK to me before, during and after surgery. Dr. Maboudi was spot on with everything regarding recovery. The surgery itself lasted less than two minutes per eye and was painless. During surgery Dr. Maboudi talked to me the entire time explaining what was going on. While the recovery is not necessarily instant (you need a week off of work to rest your eyes) it has been the best investment and decision that I've ever made for myself! The WORST part of this whole journey was having to wear to my glasses for the three weeks leading up to surgery, as I've worn contacts everyday for twenty years. My advice to anyone wanting to have PRK done is to do it at Griffin & Reed and also LISTEN to your doctor when it comes to healing. Again, recovery is not instant with PRK, BUT it is very easy if you keep up your eye drops (there's 4 different ones you use the first week) and sleep a lot. The office also makes payment plans super easy. Thank you Dr. Maboudi for the amazing vision and thank you Sabrena for encouraging me to have it done and being so patient!

My vision without glasses was horrific prior to LASIK eye surgery. It was what they called 3/200 - I could only see clearly at 3 feet what a person with healthy vision could see at 200 ft.! After the surgery I achieved 20/20! And Dr. Kim is one of the kindest souls that walks the Earth. He's an awesome human being. And Griffin & Reed uses the latest technology to make sure you get crisp vision. Don't be fooled! Overall this is a fantastic group of people that really know what they're doing. My friend and myself both being nurses, wanted to find the best doctor to do our laser vision correction procedure. Well, We found him! Dr. Reed and his staff are the most professional and personable staff I've had the pleasure of dealing with. The fees may be a little higher than the average "lasik eye mill" but we all know the old saying, you get what you pay for. Based on my interaction with Dr.Reed and his staff, I had full confidence to entrust my vision to him.

I've wanted Lasik for more than ten years but was uncomfortable with the idea of surgery, in general, and, specifically, on such a precious part of my anatomy - my eyes! As I got sicker and sicker of my astigmatism and my contacts and my glasses I also talked with more and more satisfied & happy post-Lasik individuals. Griffin & Reed has been around a long time and I could find only great reviews. The initial visit was through and professional and the entire staff impressed me with their "bedside manner" and their knowledge and their patience with my detailed questions. I waited about another 2 months after my initial visit to schedule my procedure 2 months after that. Though still a little nervous the day of the procedure, it turned out to be a no-brainer. The post-op follow-ups have continued to be excellent and I'm happier every day with both my vision and with the fact that I finally cleared my cabinets of all my contact lens supplies! I would recommend Dr. Reed and his staff to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience at Griffin and Reed! Dr. Maboudi was terrific...she made me laugh, was kind and compassionate and very knowledgeable. She explained everything to me in perfect detail as well as answer my questions. Sabrena was so helpful in explaining the logistics and details regarding the procedure and scheduling. Everyone there made my experience wonderful! The surgery was very quick and every step explained. Would highly recommend Griffin and Reed!

After receiving a recommendation from a nurse colleague, I chose Griffin and Reed for my lasik procedure. I WISH I had done this earlier. It has been the best decision!! Dr. Reed and all the people , staff involved were awesome. Everyone was so nice and respectful, and knew their jobs very well. I wish I could name them all..Sabrena was excellent and very patient. :) Having worked with surgeons for 36 years, Dr. Reed was a "breath of fresh air". Just a nice man, and an awesome surgeon. Dr. Reed is an answer to a different lifestyle. I have been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade and contacts since I was 16. When I had attempted to be rid of glasses 16 years ago and was told that I did not qualify for the procedure. My husband was going to go through the procedure and I was jealous and wished that I qualified for it. When I was taking my husband in for his procedure I was speaking with Dr. Reed briefly and he said, "Make an appointment" so I did! And O.M.G. I qualified!!!! So then we scheduled all the appointments and said that as of November 30th I could not wear contacts anymore. I was fine with that! So 18 days later on my wedding anniversary my husband took me to the surgery center and I was given the gift of sight! What an awesome gift and opportunity that this has been given to me. There are not words that can describe how I feel about my "new" eyes and how grateful I am for a husband that offered me this gift of sight with the help of Dr. Reed.
