NVISION is a next gen medical practice. From the moment I walked into the lobby/waiting area to the receptionist I could tell this was different from the often cold medical environments that are so common. The physician's assistant that served me was professional but also, 'over-the-top' kind and assuring. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing, why she was doing it and how it would enable Dr. Hines to prescribe the best diagnosis and path forward. The equipment is state-of-the-art and clean. Dr. Hines' persona was very calming, reassuring, and exuded an uncanny knowledge of his science and craft. He explained everything about my condition in ways that I could understand and why he prescribed the path forward that he did. I would highly recommend Dr. Hines and his team to anyone who has a need for an accurate eye diagnosis and care.
I had two cataract surgeries within the last two weeks. I was impressed by the staff and the process during both surgeries. My recovery is going well. My surgery team worked well together and were professional and courteous at each stage of the process.
I had my LASIK surgery done with Nvision in 2024, and unfortunately I've had nothing but issues since then. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you are considering LASIK.
Today I called with questions regarding my appointment and was met with extremely poor customer service. The woman on the phone repeatedly gave the same scripted response no matter what I asked. I tried to clarify my questions several times, but instead of actually addressing them, she just repeated the same dismissive phrase over and over again. It was incredibly frustrating It was like talking to an answering machine that kept spitting out the same response.
Overall, it was just unhelpful and delivered with a rude attitude. If you need LASIK services, do not come here.
At my first appointment Mandy administered six different eye tests as part of my initial assessment checking for cataracts. Mandy's care was top notch and I was impressed with the office's waiting areas down to the exam rooms. All the staff I interacted with, including Dr. Fors, displayed a very high level of professionalism and I look forward to continuing with their expertise of eye care.
I want to thank all the staff at the Roseville Nvision center for doing such a great job with the refractive lens exchange! From the staff at the front desk, to the medical providers, to the surgical staff, everyone was excellent. I'm so happy to be able to see without my glasses! I had a really high prescription and an astigmatism and they corrected both. It took me quite a few adjustments to feel satisfied with my vision and find a compromise between distance and reading vision. It's six months later and I'm finally satisfied. I do a lot of reading and close-up work as a medical provider and I didn't want to take my glasses on and off for everything throughout my workday. They told me I could take as long as I needed to be happy with the vision. I can't recommend this location enough, they really went above and beyond for me and my eyes.
I am so impressed with the quality of professional and efficient care I received from everyone at NVISION. My cataract surgery and recovery (which included multiple corrective procedures) was quite successful. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have better vision today. I highly recommend NVISION.
This location was recommended to me. They can be pretty generous in sharing and walking through details. However, the optometrist was fairly disconnected with me throughout the one day follow-up (about 5 min ago). My left eye was unable to see clearly and when I asked about this, she said, "Well, that's expected. We will check back at week one. You're free to go," and she walked out the door leaving me in the room with the lights off. That was such a horrible shine on this location that it dropped my rating tremendously. The surgeon, however, seemed fairly great. Overall, I don't feel I was as well prepared by the team for the actual surgery as I could have been. During surgery, they press a machine against the eye so firmly, that it is quite painful and anxiety producing, and not a single person warned me about this. Even before it occurred the only words they provided were, your vision will black out - nothing about the amount of pressure or the pain of the pressure. Otherwise, the team was great. Rachael answered all of my questions and has vast amounts of information. The surgeon seemed happy to do what he does and offered some space for questions. The surgeon walked through most parts of the surgery during the surgery (except the noted part above and a few other minor aspects). There was also a part of the surgery when I needed a one second break, but they said, "don't talk" and kept pushing forward. This occurred on my left eye which is currently the eye with the issue. I wasn't ready, they proceeded, and this eye's vision is not as well as the other. So those are some aspects I would want others to think about. This is an expensive surgery, and the optometrist did not seem to care much at all about my concerns during follow up. She literally came in, looked at my scores, looked at my flaps, told me it was normal that I was guessing at the letters and that each one was blurry with my left eye only, and then left before I could say anything else. I would have brought these aspects up in person, but there was literally no one to talk with as I was left alone to walk myself out.

Be very careful with these guys and make sure you are well informed BEFORE going in.
I went there for a LASIK consult for vision (I do not have cataracts) after which we spoke about lens replacement.
I felt very railroaded toward the lens replacement option and was only offered one option (Light Adjustable Lens) when asking for more information and about PROs and CONs I was told that it had NO cons other than the price and that results were perfect and permanent after a 7 day recovery for each eye.
I went home to do a little of my own research and found that while LAL lens is a good proven technology the is significant recovery work beyond the 7 days of no bending or straining I was informed. There are also many other options on the market that have better reviews and or address some of the cons that LAL lenses present.
The location itself is nice, the people seem friendly and professional and I am sure they do good work. I simply believe that the doctor should be able to give me more clear information about a medical subject they specialize in than a 5 min youtube video.
Hope this helps.
