Very friendly people and super good optometry clinic specially Dr Wen, she is the best as a person and a Dr, detailed exam, takes her time, made all the trials till I am comfortable, super friendly, Simply she is very good and I highly recommend dr Wen.

What's the point in even making an appointment if they don't respect it? I showed up 5 minutes prior to my appointment and they said the wait was atleast 30 minutes. Mind you, if I was late or didn't show up their policy is to bill me 10$ And their best offer to make it right is a reschedule?

Dr Lin is so rude she should consider a career change to work at the DMV, but even that's an insult to the DMV. I had an appointment which I added to my calendar as 11:30 and never received a confirmation via text or email. The appointment was at 11:20 and I arrived at what I thought was the appointment time. The doctor had taken a walk in in my place and I was told to wait to see if I could get in. I waited 30 minutes watching other appointments come and go. Dr Lin didn't have the basic courtesy to even acknowledge my presence and eventually the assistant said that I would not be able to get in that day. Then I get another appointment and this second time I do get a notification email and was there on time but had to wait 25 mins for my appointment. Pathetic

I am more than pleased with Dana Point Optometrist. I am particularly appreciative for Christian. He is welcoming, helpful, and patient. I recently purchased Oliver Peoples Clear Frames. He assured the "color" and the frame size was appropriate for my face. The order was processed quickly and completed in less than a week. I am grateful for the experience at Dana Point Optometrist and the services offered and the kindness of Christian. Thank you!

I was charged for something I did not request and was not informed prior which I find it unprofessional. I wish Dr. Tonnu would inform patients prior to charging for an unsolicited service. When I asked she said "you needed it" and shut door to see other patients. I wish she would practice a more honest practice and allow patients to make those decisions prior to getting a bill with an extra cost.

I was charged for a contacts exam I didn't ask for when the Doctor simply started talking about contacts during an appointment that was supposed to just be about a new glasses prescription. Following up, calling, and using the online contact form, the office staff simply acknowledges your message and then ignores it. I totally regret coming to this office, wouldn't recommend it to any of my family or friends under their business practices improve.

Worst optometrist ive ever been too. Somehow completely misdiagnosed an astigmatism and gave me the wrong prescription. I told her during the exam that the contacts that she gave me were blurry and I was seeing cross eyed. These contacts gave me migraines for a month. I ended up coming up with my own prescription and im seeing great now. No astigmatism. Save your time from Dr. Quack and look elsewhere.

I had the most stress filled time at this optometrist. While the ladies are very kind, they are not helpful or organized. I showed up early to my appointment (15 minutes early) and they didn't get me in until AN HOUR after my appointment. I got my prescription for both glasses and contacts and there were issues with both. So for my contacts initially they were super kind and gave me what I needed because I have a bit of a unique prescription, however this was one of my first time getting contacts and they did not give me a proper training session trying to put them in. I wound up leaving and crying after 40 minutes because I couldn't put them in. Once I got home I looked up a super helpful youtube video and BOOM they were in. As far as my glasses goes, they did not include what my pd is. Even if it was the average (63) it would have been nice to have that written down instead of left blank so I wouldn't worry and wind up trying to measure it myself. Will not be going again. (Update) I've ordered three different glasses from different stores/companies and my prescription has been all wrong every time. So now I know my glasses prescription overall is wrong too! Woooooooo
