Highly recommend going elsewhere. Dr. Chang was great! Unfortunately, the front office staff were consistently incompetent. I was inaccurately told services weren't covered by insurance. Also, they stated not knowing the compound pharmacy information my prescription order went to or how to retrieve the medication, and then acted as if it was an inconvenience for them to find out from the doctor. They didn't know which doctor completes specific tasks such as contact lens training, so we were incorrectly scheduled with a doctor who doesn't do the training and had to reschedule much later. I asked for a school note which wasn't provided, so I had to ask again about an hour later. They also handed my young son his new eye glasses in the case and never offered to make sure they even fit him. Who does that?! Nevermind that we were never greeted while at least two staff members weren't even helping other customers, there were so many more specific examples demonstrating their level of incompetence and poor customer service. Again, save your time and patience by going elsewhere.
I have been going to Dr. Blue for years now and I could not be happier with the care and customer service I receive. Dr. Blue gives me consistently accurate prescriptions, he identified a torn retina, and got me to an eye surgeon - all of which saved me more serious issues. He is very thorough and always takes time to answer my questions. His team in the front office includes Rachel who is amazing. She helps me choose glasses that fit my face shape so they look good on me and then adjusts them for maximum comfort. I always leave feeling confident with my glasses. Dr. Blue and Rachel truly care about their patients, provide personalized service and are highly skilled. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Jason Chang is an incredible optometrist! He is so thorough and really cares about his patients. He found a cancerous tumor in my eye that a previous practice I went to for years had missed. I am so incredibly thankful for Dr. Chang and how quickly he acted to make sure I was seen by an ophthalmologist and later an ocular oncologist.
The optometrist is very knowledgeable and friendly. The staff were friendly! Two stars because they NEVER answer the phone or return messages. It took 3 months to get my glasses. I understand there's supply chain issues but I was never able to get ahold of anyone to find out what was taking so long.
The Dr.'s are great and the front desk doesn't seem to be very knowledgeable . Called to make an appointment and was told they no longer take patient''s and are booked through all of 2025!! They Recommend Amanda Pereira optometry for anyone that needs help. I have been going there for a long time and I'm not a New client, so hearing this was very disappointing . So to save anyone else, the disappointment I experienced I'm writing this review and posting the information provided by envision optometry . I hope this company the best and hopefully more loyal customer like me won't be turned away with so many unanswered questions .
Been a patient of Dr Blue for a few years and hes absolutely amazing! Unfortunately when i tried to make an appointment, i was told since new management or owners took over they no longer accept my insurance which ive had for years with no issues. Don't understand now this is an issue and told me it would cost $200 for an out of pocket eye examination! No way im not paying that and the the gal at the front really didn't seem to care. So disappointed. I really liked this place.. :(

A company that's out for your nickel and dime--if you're looking for an Optometrist, I recommend skipping this place and going elsewhere.
First of all, they seem to be the only Optometrist in the area that requires a $50 retinal scan. Normally this would be a non issue, however, they lack transparency on its purpose. Previous places have always shown me what my scan looked like but not EnVision. During billing at the end, I asked the clerk why it was needed and was told it was due to Covid. I asked if it everything checked out and they responded with, "I don't know, I can ask the Doctor and give you a call if there was any issue." To me, this just feels like a cash grab attempt.
Second, they charged me for a contact lens fitting, which also wouldn't have been a problem, but they didn't do any fitting in the store. I've used contacts before and chose to put them in and try on at home.
The last issue is the reason I'm leaving a review, the prescription. It was never given to me and I had to email them to have it sent. The kicker, I can't help but think it's incorrect, especially since the contacts weren't.
I had ordered a pair of glasses outside of EnVision but with the prescription they provided. They clearly are incorrect but I figured that I'd just have the doctor check them for the correct prescription when I went back in for my contact lens follow up.
When I asked if they could check them I was told no, that they weren't bought from them so I'd have to take a gamble. Here's what the doctor told me to bet on--if they were incorrect, he wouldn't charge but if they were, he'd charge me.
I'm sorry, what? If my psychologist prescribed me a medication that didn't work, they don't tell me to take it up with the manufacturer.
I get it, they sell glasses, but that should come second to making sure the prescription is correct. That also ignores that fact that I don't like the brands or styles they sell. If they only provide customer care to those who purchase glasses, they should make it known.
In the end, I have spent over $200 to end up with a prescription that I do not trust. Instead, I'll have to schedule a second opinion with another Optometrist and order a new pair of glasses.
