San Pedro Optometry

I have been going to San Pedro Optometry for a few years, and have added my kids and husband as patients as well. I have only great things to say about my experiences here. They are thorough healthcare providers, they have provided really great recommendations to improve overall daily eye health, very personable clinicians AND staff, really easy to book appointments since you can do it online, and they work really well with kids. I highly recommend San Pedro Optometry.

I'm very pleased with my experience with Dr Che. She was kind, knowledgeable, and pleasant. A very professional office and will definitely be going back.

WARNING! CHECK YOUR INSURANCE!! As someone who has worn contacts majority of my life I understand what my insurance entails. I decided to go to San Pedro Optometry since it was close to our home. When I came in the receptionist told me that I'd pay my co-pay ($10) + contact fit fee of $45 I didn't question that too much since it was only $55 but after I got done with Dr. Jennifer who was great! Another lady told me that I'd have to pay out of pocket $155 for my eye exam which doesn't make sense since I have insurance. She then proceeded to tell me that my insurance doesn't cover my exam and that they can only use my insurance for my eye exam if I buy my contacts there as well. Which made no sense because I HAVE INSURANCE! And I've never had to pay for my exam before. After some pushback she came back and told me that she was able to bill my insurance for my eye exam and that I only had to pay what they quoted me in the beginning. But when I left I still felt like something was off. So I called my insurance and it showed that the office billed my insurance the contact fit and follow up which is $40 and they charged me $45 out the door for the contact Fit and follow up as well! So they were double dipping! I should've left only paying my $10. I called them back and they ended up refunding me but with how this whole interaction went with them it doesn't sound like this was an "accident" It sounds like they probably do this all the time but no one has ever questioned them on it. This place is not integrous at all! DO NOT GO. Dr. Jennifer was great but how they do their billing is not! I will not be back and I'm writing this so you all are aware as well!

Excellent optometrist Dr Che, takes a personal interest and does not try to sell you something you do not truly need. A real asset to San Pedro and to myself.

I've been going to San Pedro optometry for a few years now. The staff is always friendly and very professional.

The Optometrist is nice but when I received my glasses, they were not as expected since I paid $800+ thinking is new glasses.. as I walked out the door in the sunlight they were very scratched and seemed used. When I approach the staff about the glasses being used and scratched and paying $800+. They got upset. I received an Email from them stating I approach them a certain way they felt uncomfortable ,and yes they return my money and recommend me to another provider. So if you come here make sure your glasses are NEW .!!! And not display!!!!!!! Because the Don't tell you...
