Dr. Stephanie Burris is a gem and I always have the most informative conversations with her about my eye/overall health. She truly cares about her clients and I will continue to see her for as long as she is practicing and I live in Santa Barbara. They only recommendation for improvement I have is for the staff at the front, they can be adverse to suggestions that would make their process easier for clients. For example, not being open to e-mailing your prescription to you and sticking strictly to fax or in house pick up is a bit out dated.

When this office transitioned from my previous eye doctor's retirement we wondered how anyone could keep the same great level of care. Dr. Santizo and Burris have done just that. They are thorough, and a great blend of professionalism mixed with caring. The eye glass shop still has Stephanie that dials in any pair to fit and a delightful new person whose name I can't recall at the moment but is also kind and capable.

Uniformly rude, poor service which finally required legal action to recover money paid for glasses. First problem was lack of polarized lenses which were paid for but not received. Refund begrudgingly provided. Basically told I was a fool and that it was my perception that was incorrect. Second problem was glasses were improperly fitted. Never resolved. Third problem was sloppy eye exam. Result - wrong prescription, could not use glasses. Never resolved. Full refund after legal papers were served. Great place for masochists who love rudeness.

Attempting to make an appointment for an update to prescription for contacts; after 40 minutes of answering questions on phone, finally got incorrect information about release for records REQUIRED from last optometrist resulting in cancellation of the entire effort. VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE!
