The Dr's are fine. But the front office and optical dept. need to learn customer service. My wife had a appointment, she suffered a emergency three hours before her appointment. She called to explain the situation and was rudely told that a $50 no show charge would be billed. Even our dentist doesn't do that. No care or concern for her emergency. There's a lot of choices in Santa Barbara. Find another!

I will never go to another LensCrafters! OCSB is a shining example of why small businesses thrive in SB. Although I went in with reservations about being treated differently because of my insurance, I was treated with the same respect and consideration as anyone else, and given the options to choose my care based on my needs, not on what my insurance would cover. Dr. Burris took the time to explain everything. The receptionist may not have been over friendly, but she was helpful, nice, and respectful. She got the job done, and personally it was refreshing to me. I was not there to get sold into a pair of glasses, but to find out exactly what was going on with my eyes, and they did that!

I would give this place 5 stars, because the optometrists are great. Dr Wendy is fantastic and really nice and helpful. However the front staff is rather rude and unfriendly. The lady at the front desk I believe her name was Rosa was very short with me and treated me as if I was ignorant and seemed very annoyed by my presence. As someone who has previously worked in customer service I know for a fact that it not at all how you're supposed to behave to a customer. On top if that the woman helping me get my frames was very rude and made a lot of assumptions about my budget and price range . She had a demeanor that was rather snobbish and fake nice. All in all aside from the front staff it was a good experience. The exam was very thorough and Dr Wendy allowed for a comfortable enough environment that I would consider going back again.

I really enjoy coming to this office, but the front desk staff can be really rude. I called to fax a prescription and was met with a really serious attitude for no apparent reason. We're in a pandemic, people are having a hard time, there's no reason to be rude to people over the phone.
