I have been seeing Dr. Wendy Santizo for many years. She is extremely thorough and very personable. We discuss not only my vision and eye health, but also overall health and well-being. I love her! Everyone in the office has always been super friendly and helpful.

I've been going to Dr. Santizo for many years. She is excellent. She is knowledgeable, skilled and kind. Her prices are competitive, and her follow up is solid. Highly recommended.

Dr. Santizo was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I think it says a lot that she has been practicing there for so many years. I would definitely recommend. She was able to explain everything very clearly to me and I look forward to having my children see her as well. Thank you Dr. Santizo!

Dr. Santizo is a very good optometrist and offers helpful natural information for good eye health. Never had "rude" service at front desk as described in previous reviews. I wouldn't buy frames there anyway since it is a small place so no issue with sales.

I read these "reviews" and had to wonder if they were talking about the place I go. I originally went to Dr. Cibull and then Dr. Santizo. Dr. (Wendy) Santizo is beyond excellent and takes a ton of time with me, and I get the best care. Rosa (office manager) rude? Actually, she's got a great sense of humor and I always leave there laughing. Maybe her sense of humor didn't work on these other folks. I did encounter one "sales person" that was a bit pushy (if you showed-up with an "older" frame it was always "too old and it will break,]" ... but I had those "old frames" re-fitted many time since ... but she's not there anymore. Overall, top care, friendly people and my opinion in not based on a couple visits but years of going to Dr. Santizo. Mike Bono ... Santa Barbara

Go there if you want a rude receptionist (Rosa), overselling sales person (StephanieJohns), and an incompetent optometrist (Stephanie Burris). First set of very expensive glasses was defective and had to be remade. Second set was worse and not polarized, an option that I had ordered and paid for. No one there seemed to know that two polarized lenses rotated 90 degrees to each other cancel all light so the viewer sees nothing but black thru the lenses. I demonstrated that simple test to Dr Burris and got a refund for the bogus polarization option. The frame broke some months later and, even tho there was a 100% warranty, Ms Johns insisted I pay a $35 service charge. I disputed the charge with the credit card company. Dr. Burris then agreed it was indeed improper and promised to refund it.Two weeks later, I am still waiting for the refund. Unless rudeness, overselling, and incompetence are appealing to you, go someplace else. Don't waste your time, money and patience with them.

I've been going to Dr. Santiago for years and I love her service. She sent me to an opthalmologist who worked out fine! But now I'm back to Dr. S. Rosa is a gem, too!

Dr. Santizo gave me a fantastic eye and general health exam. Her bedside manner was professional and caring.
