I have been wearing contacts every single day for years. It slowly became a hassle overtime, and I started exploring the possibility of completing SMLE. I'm making this post more than a year after my wife had her SMILE procedure here with IQ Laser Vision. Don't know what took me so long, because we have had such an amazing experience so far and the team here has both offered amazing care and the results have been amazing! I had suggested to my wife that she get laser eye surgery after having had LASIK myself over a decade ago. Let me tell you.... technology has gotten so much better! My wife was lucky. Also, my wife was very scared and nervous, and the staff and surgeon was very good at helping her feel comfortable at all stages. We opted for SMILE, which was more expensive than LASIK, because of the quick recovery time and it being minimally invasive. SMILE doesn't require that a full flap be cut from your cornea, so you also typically experience less eye dryness and halo after the procedure, which are things that I definitely had to deal with many years ago with my own operation. Waiting has been a common thing for a lot of medical appointments in the pandemic, and this place is no different. So expect some delays for appointments and come prepared with a book or things to do on your phone . One story that I'll never forget.... on the day of our surgery, another patient actually had taken something to calm herself for her eye surgery, and ended up fainting. I saw first hand the whole staff jump into action and take the most amazing care for her. They let her take up an entire room and lay down, kept checking her blood pressure, and gave her some fluids and snacks to make sure she was fully recovered quickly. She did end up getting her surgery that day too! Overall, I'm glad that my wife and I chose this clinic to have our surgery.

I was initially hesitant because the office was quite a drive away for me but their standard of care and professionalism was far above anywhere else. They have it down. Every one that works there seems to happy. I also appreciate that they accommodated my schedule and the long drive by still seeing me if I was early or late to the appointment. Just do it!
