I had the most amazing experience once again while visiting my Retina Specialist, Dr. Golchet, MD. who is the best!
Dr. Golchet is compassionate, trustworthy, highly educated, thoughtful, and cares about the well-being of her patients.
Also, I want to recognize Maribel, Breana, Cat, Jacqueline, Dafny, and Zuleyma for making me feel special during my visit and for my procedure. All of you ladies were so friendly and really cared about me.
I appreciate all of you so much!
Thank you and I'll see you soon.
The Staff is helpful, Doctors are attentive and professionals. One thing that recently happened was that I got a pair of new glasses, Oakley-Meta glasses and got my prescription lenses ordered for the new frame, however when I received my new glasses the original lenses which were clear-Grey/Transitions were not returned to me, according to the staff the Oakley Lab did not send them back, that is almost $200.00 dollars gone.
Poor service was seen on VA referral and they refuse to give prescription and after visit summary until they are paid by VA. Been 3 days and I requested this so I can submit to Tricare as the VA requires but Shepard eye refuses. I was upcharged on the visit and said the cannot bill 2 insurances it's one or the other. I have co insurance and the refused. Poor office staff poor customer service and por Dr. etiquette Dr Bielsma told me to shut up and he needed to talk. Do not go here.
Worst LASIK Experience.
I am not one to typically leave negative reviews, but I feel I should share our terrible experience with this office. Nearly a year ago, my husband underwent LASIK surgery here, a procedure we hoped would improve his distance vision. Instead, it has done the exact opposite, leaving us not only out the money we paid but also with extreme disappointment.
From the moment we walked in, it seemed this office was more interested in taking our money than truly caring for their patients' outcomes. They were quick to accept payment for the surgery, but their concern seemingly ended there. My husband's vision is now terrible because of this surgery. His vision is blurry near and far, now one of his pupils dialates more than the other, and he suffers from constant headaches. This all started immediately after the procedure.
We've brought these serious concerns to the attention of the staff, hoping for some solution or even just empathy. Instead, we've been met with a shocking lack of care. Their response, in essence, was that he's "stuck with them this way." This dismissive attitude is absolutely unacceptable when dealing with something as crucial as someone's eyesight and well-being.
Please, do not waste your hard-earned money or risk your precious vision at this office.
We are now left exploring options as we believe this level of neglect and the severe impact on my husband's quality of life cannot go unaddressed.
Amazing performance by everyone!!. The results exceeded my expectations. Very helpful in person or by phone.
Never close to appt time, yet they charge for no show. The usual wait time is 30+ minutes after scheduled times..
Despite their response, a year later and the appointment times are completely ignored by the establishment. It's still a long time past appointment times to be seen.
Since there are such long wait times, and they charge for no shows, they should put in a couple free EVSEs to at least compensate for the continual overlooking of patients
Once again. Well over 30 minutes late for an appointment. Im looking for a reasonable place that doesn't overlook and charge you for not showing up!
Had lasik done to correct my distance vision. I knew my near vision would suffer because of it and was okay with it. I had the operation and then had my follow-up appointment, where they said I had an astigmatism, something never said to me before. They also said I'd likely need another surgery. Then at my next follow up appointment the doctor said it was perfectly normal. So now my near vision and distance vision are blurry. I was really hoping they would try to make this right, but they are not.
I took over 2 hours and the dr. Spent very little time with me and didn't want to answer my questions. Took so long didn't have time pick out glassed before I had to leave another appointment. An eye exam should not take overv2 hours. Never again
