I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Berg and his entire team. My optometrist, along with family and friends, recommended him for my LASIK consultation, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The front office staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and very accommodating from the start. Dr. Berg took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and clearly explain the procedure, and his team made the financing process smooth and stress-free. On the day of surgery, they carefully confirmed my vision was stable, ensured I was comfortable moving forward, and expertly prepared me for the procedure. After surgery, Dr. Berg and his staff continued to provide outstanding care. Dr. Berg personally examined my eyes the following day to make sure everything was healing properly, and his staff was always available to answer my follow-up questions. After navigating an extremely stressful consultation process with another well-renowned vision center and being advised to undergo an unnecessary ICL procedure that would have cost nearly double and involved a longer recovery, I ultimately chose to proceed with Dr. Berg for LASIK -- and I am incredibly grateful that I did. But I'm so glad I finally went through with it. By the very next day, I could see better than I ever did with my contacts. I've worn glasses for most of my life (I'm 33) and always dreamed of getting LASIK, but I wasn't a candidate until recently. The idea of laser eye surgery made me pretty nervous at first, but after my consultation I felt completely reassured, and genuinely excited to move forward. Surgery day was a breeze. Even though I was a little nervous, the staff and Dr. Berg made me feel calm, comfortable, and well prepared. The procedure itself took no more than 15 minutes. It felt a bit strange, but not painful at all, it was over so quickly I couldn't believe it. I went home, slept for a few hours, and by dinnertime I could see clearly. I truly cannot recommend this surgery enough. If you're a candidate but feeling hesitant, you are absolutely in great hands at Dr. Berg's office. Your only regret will be not doing it sooner. Berg-Feinfield was, for me, a revelation and an extraordinary experience. Being in my eighties and with pre-existing retinal problems, I was very apprehensive about this procedure despite all the assurances from friends and family that this was not a complicated procedure. Perhaps not, but getting through it could be difficult. Not so with Berg-Feinfield. There was not one component of the experience, from office visits to the clinic and surgical procedure itself into the aftercare that was not truly excellent and for exceeded my expectations. The entire office staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I dealt principally with Crystal and Kelly, both of whom took great care to make sure I was on top of every detail. A major plus is that, over a period of several weeks, not one of my appointments kept me waiting. I was always in the examining room within 10 minutes of arrival -- at the most. Once there, the optometrist and nurse were patient and caring, always making sure to explain what they were doing and why. I've always felt that the culture of a medical office is a direct reflection of the physician/surgeon himself. Dr. Berg certainly confirmed the theory in this case. His examination was so thorough, his explanation of the process so complete, and his confidence as a physician profoundly reassuring. Dr. Berg was there for me all the way, as was his staff. They were entitled to surround themselves with the humanity of Norman Rockwell's gentle people. The actual clinical procedure passed without notice although the anesthetist, Dr. Zon, an military veteran like myself, kept the mood light and reassuring. All I remember tof he procedure is a bright light and Dr. Berg's voice reassuring me I was doing well and encouraging me. And then it was over. The next day when the first dressing was removed, it was like a miracle. I could see as I hadn't in many years. It has rejuvenated me. If you have any doubt about how simple this is or how extraordinary the results will be, I urge you to see Dr. Berg, meet his staff, and go for a very easy ride. It's interesting that the waiting room is decorated with large prints of Norman Rockwell illustrations which recall an earlier day when one-to-one contact between people was at the essence and unimpeded by digital and computer-driven assessments. State of the art medicine supported by the most modern technology and craft by the practitioners. They are marvelous. This is restorative health at its very best.

Two weeks ago I had LASIK done and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I scheduled a free consultation where I received a thorough eye exam to determine eligibility for LASIK and then was able to schedule my procedure quickly. They offer various payment options as well as financing upon approval. I did have to reschedule my procedure due to waiting for the financing to be approved (this did not have to do with the office itself). Once everything was set, on the day of the procedure, I had an eye exam again prior to the procedure itself. Dr. Berg and his team were very kind and walked me through the procedure as it was happening. With the numbing drops, I did not feel much pain during the procedure which only took 15 minutes. I was sent home with my eyes covered, I kept my eyes closed on the whole ride home and went straight to sleep for the next 5 hours. Upon waking I could see well, had dinner and went back to sleep shortly. The next morning I returned for a follow up showing that everything had gone well. I had used corrective lenses for about 30 years and within 15 minutes my eyes were corrected and after sleeping I was seeing 20/20. I'm so grateful I finally got around to LASIK and that I chose Berg-Feinfield to do so.
