GREAT SERVICE at Lenscrafters in Sherman Oaks next to Gelsons Market! Thomas was very knowledgeable and infinitely patient in guiding me through the myriad options and choices you have to make when ordering eyeglasses, especially on a budget. It gets confusing and complicated real fast choosing frames, coatings, lens options you need for your prescription but Thomas answered all my questions and clearly explained everything in detail, including pros and cons of various features available and whether they would work for me or were optional. Costs add up real quick and I really wanted to stay within my eyeglasses insurance benefits and healthcare insurance allowances without too much out of pocket cost overages. I lucked out and caught one of the last days of a Buy One Pair Get 50% Off On A Second Pair sale. I was able to get my everyday prescription eyeglasses plus prescription sunglasses within the benefits allowance without paying anything additional out of pocket!!! Thomas and the store manager even stayed late after store closing time so we could finish my order up and submit it to the lab that night. Both pairs of eyeglasses were ready in 5 days as promised without waiting the full 5-10 days estimated maximum. I am very pleased with both pairs of my new eyeglasses!!!

Jessica was so helpful in fixing my sunglasses. one of the screws came out at the beach (gone forever) and within 5 min of walking in, i had my sunglasses fixed. she also tightened the other screw to make sure everything was secure. thankful i can keep wearing my fav sunnies!

Jessica was just so helpful! She repaired and spruce up a pair of glasses that were not even purchased from LensCrafters. She was quick, professional and polite. I am absolutely amazed and impressed. Definitely visit this location!

Just sharing that Mai at the Lenscrafters in Sherman Oaks (next to Gelsons/Best Buy) was extremely helpful, polite and thorough. She greeted me with a smile, and solved my problem with a GREAT attitude. This is the way customer service should work, which is so lacking these day. The optometrist was super nice and helpful, the exam was a breeze and best of all the optician saved me $300 on contacts for the year compared to 1-800-CONTACTS. They also gave me some trials to tide me over in the meantime so I'm not walking around blind.

We had a fantastic experience at the Sherman Oaks (next to Gelson's) location! Jacob at the front desk was kind, gentle, and helpful every step of the way from booking the appointment to welcoming us in person. He even guided my parents through the initial pre-exam tests before the doctor took over, and made them feel completely at ease. Dr. Anais Chorbadjian was amazing with my elderly parents: so patient, sweet, and knowledgeable. The store also has a great selection of glasses, and it was easy for my parents to find pairs they loved. The only small area for improvement was during the checkout/frame selection process. The young lady assisting us was very nice but not as helpful in guiding us through frames and lens options, I found myself stepping in more to ask and choose for my parents. Still, checkout itself was smooth and efficient. Overall, the Sherman Oaks location is now our #1 choice for eye care!
