City Eyes Optometry Center

I have been going to City Eyes for four years. Every time I visit I have a great experience. The entire staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I also like that every visit it's the same staff that takes the time to get to know my history and fulfill my eye care needs. I highly recommend City Eyes.

Never going here again after 6 years of being conned. This place gives me anxiety every time I go because they are so pushy and greedy. I end up spending hundreds of dollars more than I expect every time I go. They only want you to use whatever third party contact company they have and will inconvenience you if you try to take your prescription anywhere else. They denied my prescription at Costco twice in a row without notifying me, and then tried justifying it and strong arming me about it. Also, they are in way too dingy of a shopping strip to be asking for so much money. 0/10

Not a great place, sure they have good technology and various frame options, but the customer service will leave you fuming. God forbid you have a discrepancy or want a different brand for something they didn't recommend. You can feel the greed in that place, their interests are not yours. Don't expect to get a prescription and use it where it suits you. This place will lock you into whatever they say and give you no other options.

Pretty rude customer service. Called in to ask for a notedly old prescription. Once I gave my last name, he incorrectly told me that my prescription expired in 2021. This was immediately incorrect since the first time I was seen was in 2021. He later clarified after prompting that it expired in 2022. Was rudely told that they can not email expired prescriptions and that they cannot release the old prescription numbers verbally. While I am okay with the policy, the person I was speaking with could have handled the encounter with more grace. This might have been an opportunity for me to schedule another appointment but given the sour taste from the abrupt responses I would choose to do business elsewhere.

Just got back from my appointment. I was a little worried going in because of some of the negative reviews but honestly the office is AMAZING! I guess some people can't be pleased? I was early and was seen as soon as I came in. ALL of the staff and the doctor were SO NICE and professional! And i felt taken care of the whole time. The office was clean, perfectly sized and yeah. I don't know what more you could ask for. Happy to call this my eye place going forward! They worked with me to figure out my prescription for contacts and glasses and were trying to find a solution that worked for my job and lifestyle. I love them. I came to write this review because I almost didn't choose them and I wanted to make my experience known. The perfect eye place AND they were affordable and didn't try to upsell me on things. Love this place

I've been going to City Eyes Optometry for about 6 or 7 years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. From the friendly and courteous front desk staff to the optometrists, all a delight to deal with. Last week I had my annual exam and again I left very happy. Never had a problem with insurance or any other issue. Over the years I had small repairs done (for free!), had bought a very low priced replacement frame (I tend to sit on my glasses), and gotten great advice on my own personal visual life time strategy.

First of all I'm impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the doctor. We figured out the best way how can i get my contact lenses and they gave me a free sample to use while I wait for the order. Highly recommend

I have been a patient of Dr. Steinberg's for over ten years, and have always found his practice to be among the best I have ever experienced. Not only are the actual glasses they have made for me over the years been the best I've ever had, the customer service is excellent and patient oriented. Recently, I was having functional difficulty with a pair of bifocals that were perfectly fine, but unsuitable for the new nature and volume of work in which I was engaged. Dr. Steinberg is clearly also informed of the cutting edge practical applications that are emerging in eyeglass technology, and was able to craft a pair of new reading glasses using lenses that reflect these latest developments. I cannot overstate how pleased I am with the result, and how they have positively impacted both my performance and my confidence. I offer my greatest superlatives for his expertise, personal attention, and production values.
