Sloan Optometry

My family and I have had a great experience at Sloan. Dr. Sloan is very attentive, has an eye for detail and a great sense of humor. We feel very well cared for at his practice. The ladies who work in the front of the practice really know what they are doing and are always ready with a kind word and a smile. We are very happy here.

Wow! In a word, wow. I fell asleep and broke off and bent the frames OFF the lenses from my favorite pair of glasses. The gut wrenching I felt was beyond words. The amazing team at Sloan (where I go for my eye exams and glasses) were able to take a look and repair what I thought was an irrecoverable broken pair of glasses. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much.

I have been to a lot of optometry offices in different parts of the country and this is by far the most knowledgeable, kind, flexible staff I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I love how everyone takes their time with you, I never feel rushed in this office. I've been going to them for several years now. Keep up the great work!

I am a customer/patient for 1 frames purchase, two sets of lens purchases, and one eye exam. This office stands behind its work. When I realized that my new lenses did not actually reflect my vision, even though it may have been my fault that I didn't relax my eyes enough during the exam, they were happy to provide me with a new exam and replacement lenses for no additional charge. Dr. Sloan is pleasant and made the extra effort to make sure I had the right prescription. There was also a minor issue with the frames I purchased a year ago which is being handled under warranty also free of charge. Brenda was able to bring the attention to the vendor rep and start that process smoothly. Basically, this is a full service shop, and you do pay basically list price for that (though they do accept my eye insurance). But I think the extra service is worth it, particularly if something unexpectedly goes wrong - they will make it right! I also didn't feel pressured with sales tactics at all - just an explanation of what they offer and how much it would be with/without insurance. I also appreciate their adherence to mask and sterilization protocols (other offices are sloppier with compliance). Note that last year, my new lenses were delayed because the lens material from the factory was not up to spec. While the delay was annoying, I'm happy that their quality control caught the error.

Glad to have a new Optometrist in Los Angeles in Sloane Optometry, and can not recommend them higher! Spotless office space, state of the art exam equipment, super friendly and accommodating staff--Brenda found great contact pricing. Also, Dr. Sloane went over and above fitting a new contact prescription. Thank you Dr. Sloane and crew!

Sloan Optometry is only place I get my non-prescription Ray Ban sunglasses from. Excellent service and pricing. They always go above and beyond to meet and exceed my expectations. Their friendly, attentive service is always a highlight when I visit the office. Thank you!
