Mysterious phone call black hole... This rating is purely for contactabilty This is the only medical clinic with the dubious distinction of never having answered a single call. The front desk staff mentioned, they keep trying, but can never catch up on calls. The doctors seem to be in a similar situation, as they are often running late. Patients fare poorly in this equation. Example with other clinics, you call, and they pick up (unknown concept here) and answer you. Here it was faster to travel 30 mins to the clinic to get even simple questions answered. The front desk people seem unstressed and polite enough. I'm wondering who's on the phone? Will update if the wait to see a doc was worth it. Stay tuned.

We had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Wanda Hu at Munnerlyn Eye Institutere. She fused to perform a cataract evaluation, claiming that our insurance did not cover it. After we filed a complaint with Sutter, a front office manager from Munnerlyn Eye Institute called and confirmed that the cataract evaluation was in fact covered by our insurance. Dr. Hu used false information to deny the evaluation because she did not view us as "surgical" patients. However, the manager told us that addressing Dr. Hu's concerning behavior was "not their responsibility." This felt like a clinic culture that prioritizes surgical patients while dismissing others. If you are not seen as a surgical case, your time and concerns do not matter.

I had to cancel an appointment (as a return patient) last October (2024) because of a personal emergency and have not been able to reschedule until this day (June 2025). Calls NEVER get picked up. Tried requesting an appointment online several times as well but have never gotten a message back.

Care here is fine, but the wait times are absolutely abysmal, they must double and triple book their providers. Expect to wait 30-60 minutes or so after your appointment time to be seen, it is a joke that they ask you to arrive 15 minutes ahead.

This one of the best eye care facilities in Sunnyvale. My wife had been here couple of times. The doctors are really nice and were able to help my wife recover from an eye injury. They have the best reception desk staff, especially regina. She makes sure that appointments are scheduled as per the patient emergency instead of first come first basis. If you are lucky to reach Regina, you can get the quickest appointments.
