Dr. Daniel Choi is a very kind and caring Dr. He was very busy as he was the only Dr on duty on the day of my appointment with a completely full waiting area. I didn't feel rushed by him even though he was very busy. He did apologized for the wait time which was over 45 minutes. He took time to talk to me and listen to any of my questions or concerns. Had to switch from one Eye Center to Azul. Nothing but outstanding service. Friendly staff, assistants are wonderful, and the doctors amazing. Dr. Choi took his time to explain the problem, the procedure, and what would be the next steps. One important note, please make sure your contact information is up to date. Patients will receive a text that will expedite the check in process. Highly recommended you complete the process. Thank you for the wonderful examinations and friendliness.

About Daniel Choi, M.D.

Dr. Choi grew up in Orange County, CA, and pursued his undergraduate education at Cornell University. He embarked on a career in economics, working as an economic research assistant at the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C. After several years in this role, he decided to pursue a career in medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Scheie Eye Institute. Continuing his medical journey, Daniel returned to Southern California to undertake a fellowship at UCLA, specializing in corneal and refractive cataract surgery. In his leisure time, he enjoys DJing, exercising, and cooking.
