Azul Vision Upland

First time with Dr. Stella Tu at Azul Vision and lets just say She didn't make me feel like a comfortable patient and it was not a great visit and experience for me with her. I now had to schedule an appt @ another Optometrist and now have to pay out of my pocket to redo my eye exam to get a second opinion because I feel she didn't do it properly. Very unfortunate because The other staff and Doctors were all amazing in my prior visits at Azul Vision. Thank you.

I brought my son, who has autism and a cognitive delay, for an eye exam. During the visit, the doctor mentioned a serious condition (glaucoma) but did not explain what that meant, did not provide reassurance, and did not give a clear plan for care or follow-up. My son was visibly distressed by the appointment and left emotionally shaken. As his parent, I was left confused and anxious because no effort was made to explain his condition in a way appropriate for a child with special needs or to help him feel safe. Children with autism require patience, clear communication, and compassion. Unfortunately, that was missing in this experience. I am sharing this so other parents of neurodivergent children can make an informed decision and so this practice can reflect on how they communicate and care for vulnerable patients

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I have had two appointments canceled by the office. Every time they reschedule it's about a month and a half out. No consideration for their patients who have made arrangements to be off from work. Maybe instead of using an outside service to schedule your appointments, you should have someone in your actual office set these up. Horrible.

Dr. Tu was kind, patient and thorough. The technician I initially saw performed all testing and photos of my eyes to fully prepare in advance for my time with the doctor. Over all my experience at Azul Vision left me very satisfied.

Dr. Chang is professional and kind. She deals with my physically challenged sister so well. She and her staff go out of their way to help and accommodate my sister and me. My sister does not always understands, but I struggle to help position her during exams. It's a team effort with their support. I much appreciate you for steadily doing your job, and still being gentle and courteous. Thanks so much.

She's really good! Well-explained after the diagnose and kind to talk to. Care for the patient as well. Her assistants are good too! Good choice if you have any vision problems.

Do Not go here for any services. Save your time money and energy and go elsewhere. Their front office staff and schedulers make this process incredibly frustrating they have no follow through and give you inconsistent information from one person to the other. Twice they've told me they had everything they needed for my mom's appointment only to drive there and find out that there was an issue and they were not able to see her. With my husband they scheduled him for an appointment twice and twice I've called a day or two before to confirm only for them to tell me he was never in the schedule. Optamologist was not very helpful or friendly when I took my brother in it felt like he was frustrated by our questions and impatient to complete the appointment. Big mistake trying to bring my family in for services. This review is for all locations because all of these were at different locations Upland, Monrovia and Covina. Please Do better!
