Dr. Garbus is an exceptional professional and truly one of the best in his field. He demonstrates remarkable kindness, generosity, and patience. During my husband's recent visit, Dr. Garbus spent over two hours conducting a thorough examination to ensure he received the most appropriate care and corrective lenses to aid in his recovery. It is evident that Dr. Garbus has a genuine passion for his work. His dedication and expertise shine through, particularly in addressing complex vision challenges related to brain injuries. His compassionate approach and commitment to finding effective solutions make him stand out as a truly extraordinary doctor. I traveled an hour and a half to see Dr. Garbus and would gladly do so again. His care, professionalism, and genuine concern for his patients are unparalleled. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking specialized and compassionate vision care.

We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Garbus and the entire team at Family Vision Care Optometry. Within just 6-7 months of weekly vision therapy sessions, my son's strabismus improved by at least 80%! Initially, we were seen at a children's hospital, where we were told he needed surgery as soon as possible, and they kept pushing us to schedule it. Trusting my instincts, I did more research and found Dr. Garbus, and I'm so thankful I did. Not only has my son's vision improved significantly, but his reading skills have also advanced tremendously--something especially important as he's now in 6th grade. I also want to acknowledge the other wonderful doctor in the practice who helped with his prescription, as well as the kind and friendly staff. If you're looking for an expert in vision therapy, I highly recommend Dr. Garbus and his team!

Not many optometrists provide the quality and care that these doctors provide. They are attentive to every complaint and ask all the right questions to figure out how to best help. If 6/5 stars was an option, I would do that!

The staff was beyond caring and the doctor took an hour making sure all my concerns regarding my child were addressed. He was so kind and explained everything. We drove all the way from Bakersfield and we will continue to.

The staff is always warm, caring and kind to my daughter and I. They are helpful and accommodating, especially as we travel in from out of town. Wait time is short to none. Dr. Garbus is thorough, very skilled and has great "bedside manner." It's easy to tell he's passionate about what he does and truly cares about his patients.

First time visit and we had a positive experience. We needed a to be seen quickly and was able to schedule. Dr was very thorough and addressed my issues. Staff is friendly, attentive and professional. Much better than the Costco exam we had last time.

This is by far the best eyecare office! The staff is amazing and DR. Garbus is a wonderful doctor. He has taken care of our eyes for over 20 years! The staff always gives a friendly greeting and everyone truly cares about your comfort, eye health and are very attenuative to our needs. They even go the extra mile to make us feel special.

Dr. Garbus and his staff are extraordinary, from check in to check out. Every step of the way. We were greeted warmly and efficiently, after which Dr. Garbus and his staff provided us with a comprehensive eye examination, explaining it to us in such a way as to be easily understood. This has to be one of our best, continuing experiences at any healthcare practitioner's facility. We take great comfort in knowing that we are in such good hands every time we visit the office, which, by the way, we travel over 100 miles round trip to get to. That must tell you something!
