Dr Brian Gross is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. I came in with a severe acute eye condition and he did not take it seriously at all. He was in and out of the exam room in 60 seconds and did not do any tests, not even the required ones for this condition. Today I got an emergency appointment with Nova Eye Institute on Mc Bean and they were wonderful. There were no wait time when I got there and they spent almost 2 hours doing different tests on my eyes and listened to me very closely. They ended up putting me on different medication because the ones I got from Helm were wrong. Would not recommend to anyone! At helm you will spend 2 hours in the waiting room only to see the the doctor for 60 seconds

I felt overwhelmed being seated 3 times before seeing the Dr. & not happy for the Dr. telling me extra charge of 80.00 for wanting eye exam for new glasses I've never had a Dr quote me charges & when I went to ask about this charge & not true. I felt the diabetic eye exam was not explain what was happening only heard it was good & who was my primary Dr When I went to pick out my glasses the girl never introduced herself & never got up to show me the glasses she pointed the rack in the corner. She was nice but could have been more helpful. Overall I give it 5 stars Thank you

Wonderful experience. The moment you walk in you're immediately acknowledged by a pleasant staff member who is truly interested in helping you. Shortly after arriving, Jacob started the exam and explained everything he was going to do and most importantly, why it was necessary. I was then taken to an exam room to meet with Dr. Helm. He confirmed what my issues were and what he recommended as the plan of action. He answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed. I would recommended this practice to everyone.

I was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful experience I had with the service I received at Helm. The quality of care was outstanding and the aides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Jia was very patient and listened to what I had to say and explained everything to me in detail. I highly recommend making an appointment here.

I just had my first (of two) cataract surgery. The staff was friendly and professional. The process was done quickly and they adapted to a complication that I inadvertently caused. They are a great team and truly care about the patient. Highly qualified staff that has obviously done this many times in the past. I would recommend them, and trust in their guidance on any vision related issue. My vision is slowly recovering exactly as they said it would.

Dr Helm group is very professional and good bed side manners. All team is good but further the font desk ladies enhanced their knowledge to greet the customers with curiosity and smile

I had an appointment on 12/3/25 and was very pleased. The staff was very nice and professional. Dr. Jia and her assistant explained each procedure that I had. Nice office and nice people. I will highly recommend the Helm office.

The good - i called to make an appointment , i was recommended to see Dr Brian Gross- after first saying it would be 3-4 weeks the staff found a cancellation and i had an appt the following week. Upon arrival i was very impressed with the facility - the staff up front were responsive and helpful. After several tests from a medical staff member i was asked to wait in an exam room for the Dr. The bad- i was expecting Dr Gross, however, a new Dr. Sasha Jia came instead, this was initially a bit offputting. As the examination went along all was good until the attempt to "flush my left tearduct". The attempt was marred by the misfortune of the chair not reclining sufficiently for her to get a good look at the left eye, the incorrect sized device was used, she asked the assistant for a smaller gauge than 25 , she came back with a 23 ( which is larger) ( training issue) she went out again to look for a 27- which the office did not have in stock. Dr comtinued to work on my left tear duct with the wrong sized needle - she never could clear the tear duct. She then Prescribed an ointment, I provided my pharmacy name and address, the order was never sent - she told me i should go see a specialist for further service. Overall a disappointing first experience
