Dr Antonyan has an incredibly well equipped office. If you have complaints with your eyes, he will help figure it out. He is very methodical and even screens for a highly underdiagnosed condition called BVD. However he first does this with a quick questionnaire to make sure he does not waste time or money. One thing I loved was he never tried to upsell me on services and always clearly stated what the time and money commitment would be. No surprises! He really cares. His office team is great too. Will update this as I continue to go here and receive treatment

Dr Antonyan (aka King David!) saved my life in Dec 2024 (even when I wasn't a patient of his) and did it again yesterday. Made it onto Forbes 30 under 30 in 2020 and since onset of BVD symptoms in 2021, have been on and off unemployed from not being to use digital screens. Honestly one of the best benefits is getting my jawline, less swelling and wrinkles on face, standing straighter and looking like I lost weight, and actually that's what helped convince my friend to flyout from Detroit to go see VVO cause she had noticed her face getting wider (she thought her BVD wasn't that bad...it honestly might have been way more functionally disabling than mine despite my strabismus being worse)...So is it Neural or BEHAVIORAL optometry...or is it Aesthetic Optometry? Cause King David going to give you the BVD diagnosis that'll get you both Beauty and Brains! BRAIN (less brain fog, no psychiatric misdiagnosis, more brain capacity due to less mental strain from binocular vision and oscillopsia), Beauty (jaw definition, mewing, less or no wrinkles - fun fact botox is "medically necessary" in some cases of Binocular Vision Dysfunction, even postural correction and I stand straighter and neck is relaxed and less neck lines too). I had downloaded TikTok in July 2024 and it seems TikTok was listening to me passively complain about suspected misdiagnosis and eye pain, and in September 2024 TikTok FYP showed me Dr Antonyan mentioning Binocular Vision Dysfunction often being misdiagnosed as psychiatric and still wearing an eyepatch due to eye pain and shutdown. If it was not for his TikToks I would still be misdiagnosed and misprescribed meds that were causing side effects in neurological and movement related. I wouldn't have known about Binocular Vision Dysfunction and gotten diagnosis that now is confirming there was also an underlying neurological issue related to oscillopsia and suspected ciliary eye muscle spasms that he and other staff (Destiny) actually saw and was able to note during appointment visit yesterday. I want to shoutout staff MARISOL and DESTINY. Destiny saw me having neuromuscular episode from eye muscle spasm that cascaded to other involuntary muscle spasms that I had experienced since 2021 (suspected med side effect or underlying neuromuscular/neurological issue). Destiny made me feel at ease getting me water and trash can (for spitting/vomiting) and pausing for my left rib cage and diaphragm to reengage and be able to posturally sit up and breathe again during the VR testing as needed for me to recover to get accurate readings. She's great! Marisol is MVP also for ensuring the FL-41 tint was manufactured correctly and following up and even saving me money on the prism lenses order as I needed two prism lenses (1 for close-up computer use for work, and 1 for daily use or distance). She ensured the manufacturer/vendor checked with the coating that I ended up realizing I had an issue with from another glasses store as stratching with the lenses started occuring and the FL-41 tint was fading so quickly due to the incompatible lenses anti-glare/scratch resistant coating was interacting and eroding the FL-41 tint. Marisol also ensured that the frames I brought in fit my head correctly and immediately relieved migraines from tight frames to temporalis region of head. She literally went over all options and sent me pictures of the FL-41 levels and shades. Super helpful and even if needed to be changed how to ensure maximal way of making sure Im satisfied given 90 day remake and 2 yr warranty. Amazing staff that go along with my savior Dr Antonyan! I want to give context that I went out-of-network from health insurance (Kaiser Permanente) and gotten the "In-Office NEURO + BVD Evaluation & Prism Fitting" consultation and it is worth every penny and more, including the follow ups and prisms lenses with FL-41 tint. I honestly wish I could've gotten the Neurolens that was offered instead of having to carry two prism glasses, but there are limits of what Neurolens can do esp for how extreme my exotropia was up close.

FINALLY - Empathy and answers! After decades of struggling with mysterious symptoms that negatively affected my quality of life and no answers from the medical community, I finally found relief thanks to Dr. Antonyan. He and his staff performed a thorough exam that included nervous system testing to determine how well my eyes were aligned and working together to form my view of the world. Dr. Antonyan reviewed the results with me in great detail. For the first time in my life, I felt validated in regard to my debilitating symptoms. He understood what I've been going through because he has lived it himself. Dr. Antonyan and his staff worked diligently to ensure I have a solution that will drastically improve my life with no need for drugs or surgery. I took a chance and traveled over 2,000 miles in hopes he could help me. It was definitely worth it. If you are struggling, talk to him. It could change your life.

I recently saw Dr. Antonyan for issues related to binocular vision, and the experience has been nothing short of transformative. Dr. Antonyan literally changed my life. I had headaches, neck and shoulder pain, and anxiety my entire life. Every other doctor said I was "too emotional" Dr. Antonyan correctly diagnosed and treated my BVD with prisms and now I have none of these symptoms. I drive from Long Beach to see him and it's well worth it!

If I was able to put no stars, I would definitely not even give a 1 star to this doctor. At first when he saw my fiance in October 2024 he was so excited about helping her, but then came the issues and he wouldn't want to listen nor hear any complaints. He would always try to find a way out up until now. This time my fiance went to him to explain the issues and he was upset and not even happy to help. He tried getting more money out of her and not even try to solve her problem with her glasses. Please be careful with this doctor, he only caused my fiance to worsen her vision and still trying to charge over $300 when we had paid about $1500 or even more for everything he said he needed to get done with her. All he really cares about is the money and not help his patients with their issues. Now my fiance will need to stop wearing those glasses that were more than expensive and that the doctor refuses to fix. He is a scammer and always claiming that insurance doesn't know enough of BVD so that is why he doesn't accept many insurances for that exam. He takes peoples money but doesnt quite help when there are issues along the way and he just gets upset and starts trying to find ways to blame the patients.

I have been suffering from headaches, balance problems, blurry vision, and lightheadedness since I was involved in a car collision. My lawyer recommended him, and it was life-changing. The tests were fun and took an hour. I thought my eyes were fine until I saw him. I can't believe my vision can be three times better. Wearing prism lenses is like magic. When he removed the prism lenses on top of my eyeglasses, I had a headache right away. I can't wait to get my prism glasses. If you have vision problems, this is the answer; your regular prescription eyeglasses are trash! You have to see this doctor. This is not your regular eye exam. The exam and eyeglasses are not cheap here. I believe they don't accept insurance so call and ask them first so you can decide if this is doable for you financially. My pair came up to $600 and that's not including the exam which is almost twice as expensive. Is it wort it for me? Goodness, I wish I knew him earlier. Of all the times that I lay on the couch because of my headache, because I watch tv, because I read too much, if I put all of those together including when I missed work because I feel like I wanna throw up,, and if I pay myself per hour, I probably lost more money. Time is precious. I have wasted hours of my life just because I don't feel good.

Dr. David Antonyan Is AMAZING!!!! I struggled with severe BVD symptoms for years and couldn't figure out what it was until I found his videos. He prescribed me prisms and my eyes have already improved after only wearing them for 4 months and almost all my symptoms have disappeared!! Im now going to do VT to hopefully correct the rest. Definitely recommend visiting vivid vision!!
